BOGIE

If Detroit is in a rebuild and are still looking for draft assets a swap of bogie with draft capital for grant would be amazing. Not sure what Detroit is wanting to do with him at the moment.

Also for minor tweaks it looks like BJelly and Parker could be had from the kings with a 2nd and youth????

I think you’d get more traction with playing Ilyasova rather than Bjelica. Possibly the same on Jabari.

Grant ain't happening... if it was then Boston would outbid us.

Grant is the wet dream. I would drop 2-3 pieces along with all our draft picks to land Grant. That puts us well over the top imo.

O'neal, bojan and as many draft picks as I'm allowed to get Grant.

Or mix and match.

I think Gordon can functionally be what we want Grant to be here. Remember Grant had an offer from Denver to stay for the same money and chose to go get 20+ ppg with a loser team. Not sure he wants to do the role player stuff we want.

Bogie and a 1st for Gordon is what I'm putting into the universe. by all accounts Grant is not available. Think I'd rather buy low on AG if possible.

Thing with Bogey, I never thought he was this one-dimensional during his Europe or Indy years. He was never plus at anything besides scoring but he did well enough and his scoring came at all levels so this is weird to see.

May be as lately we have been doing the go and catch thing a lot more and Bogey never had the greatest coordination. It could be better if he squared up instead of catching the ball on the move. He needs to settle into his looks.

I don't worry about his scoring picking back up a little... as mentioned he isn't far off. My worry is just that we still need stuff that he won't be able to bring. It might be mitigated by closing with Ingles at some point.

The other issue with Bogey is that there is basically no way we are bringing Mike and Bojan back next year. The money is way way too much... talking a tax bill of $60M+ and total salary of $220M+. Maybe what happens is we let Mike walk but with the way he is playing that would be a tough pill to swallow.

The play is likely to wait until the offseason and see if Mike even wants to come back. Will probably be a team that would be willing to absorb Bojan's deal and might even give us a little something for our trouble.

I'm going to pass on Gordon. I'd rather do Bojan/Favors or Bojan/Royce for Gordon Hayward than Aaron Gordon.

I am not worried either, his scoring will probably pick up sooner than later and even if it never does, it's still very good. He leads the league in points from the right corner. I just never seen him this uncomfortable is all. He was pretty good around the rim all his career.

Conley should be the one who comes back but I don't know how that goes. It may not matter much if Mitchell takes the next step. He will probably need to either way. I just hope we don't go out of our way to sign a PG if Conley leaves.

Oh but we will. If this FO has proven anything it's that they value PGs over all else.

See if Boston would include Robert Williams in the deal, too. I’d be willing to include Tanner Ainge back to Boston.

Seriously, though. Go look at Timelord’s per 36 numbers.
