We should discuss the concept of diminishing returns.
 
According to the Athletic this is what the Jazz are doing: "League sources tell The Athletic that the Jazz are in the market for a defender — a perimeter defender, to be more specific. The Jazz would also like that player to be an above-average shooter, if possible, as shooting is the dominant skill of the roster in its entirety. And that’s where things get more difficult. The Jazz aren’t looking for a surefire rotation guy. They are happy with their rotation, happy with their chemistry and happy with the direction the season is going."

Their locker room is a mess based on what media folks are saying.

I’m cool with a guy that creates locker room issues by being competitive. Although Rudy and Marcus may end up in several locker room shouting matches.

I read the whole article the other day... It seems like the preface to the DL press conference where he declares Miye Oni to be our big deadline acquisition.

Meh...Rudy and Smart are on the same wavelength. I thought the same thing when Jimmy Butler was in the trade rumors. Obviously you put a Rudy/Butler type with guys who don't work and it's a problem. But when that overwhelming competitiveness becomes your culture it's a good thing to have.
