My favorite part about Stockton's record is all the revisionists like CP and Bill Simmons that think it was the home scorekeepers and have made up some seriously incorrect ******** to throw shade. It isn't that hard... he was a pass first guy... never missed games... brought it every night. You rack up a **** ton of assists over the years. He probably should have shot the ball 4 or 5 times more per game but that wasn't how he lived. No one will break that record. Guys don't play that way or that long.
The insane part is he had years where it was basically double the production of most of the competing guys in one year.
