I don't think Mike would be as big a dick as Hayward. He might surprise everyone and say I've talked it over with the wife and SLC is where we want to be.

I would hope we’ve earned at least a heads up on what he’s planning to do no matter what it is after giving him a platform to become an All-Star.
I’ll be a big Mike Conley fan no matter what he does as long as he is fair and professional.

I think Bogey gives you 80% of what Hayward does at half the price. I'd like to get rid of Favors, but the extra 20% Hayward might give you aint getting the team very far.

DL really needs to get some love. The entire FO deserves it. Losing in the second round this year hurt. Even when we made it to the WCF back in 2007 we didn't have the best record in the league. We did this year.
Don't through the baby out with the bath water....
We absolutely run it back and enjoy being one of the best teams in the NBA. Yeah this year broke open for us at the end, expect for the Clippers. The Sun's and the Clips have been the toughest match up's for this season. We also had to see the Bulls.
This is a beautiful basketball team and has as good a shot as anyone of winning. We are being giving fluid, intelligent, team focused winning basketball. What we pay for in fandom is very much worth it's value for the first time really in 14 years.

I agree that it was fun to be good. It was fun to be regular season feared. I just think most Jazz fans see the season as a disappointment due to the lack of logic last offseason. Sure, we created a locker-room with good buddies and it led to regular season greatness. However, we should be battling the Suns right now if we would have been smarter as a Front Office. Full MLE Favors after drafting a project center still blows the mind.
I'm okay with running most of it back, but much of that hinges on Conley. If he comes back, we run it back but use our MLE, minimums, whatever asset we have to add at least two Quin trusted playable defensive wings.

Yeah, if Conley leaves, I have no idea how you just run back the rest of the team. Would be really hard to put any lipstick on that kind of pig of an offseason.
Can the Knicks offer Conley 2 years at 30 mil? If so, there is NO WAY we could try to match that, right?

If Conley wants to leave, especially to the Knicks, there is nothing we can do about it.
The hope is that Conley, if he wants to leave, wants a team that doesn't have the cap space to sign him so we can pull off a sign-and-trade. Losing him for nothing would be brutal.

Nobody should want Conley back… we need to improve in other ways. Getting anything for Conley would be great but I think it’s pie in the sky. Trading favors would be a good step but I’m not sure that’s possible either. We need a stretch 4,5.
