Minnesota
16-18
As of today would be the #11 pick in the draft.
Brooklyn
22-12
As of today would be the #27 pick in the draft.
Philadelphia
20-13
As of today would be tied for the #23 pick in the draft.
We own Minnesota’s pick unprotected and get the lesser of Brooklyn/Philadelphia/Houston’s picks.
Have each of those drop by 4 spots and we’re in business.Updated. If the draft was today we’d have picks 11/14/27.
Question is, and it likely was brought up in one of the prior pages and has been lost, is what would it take to get the NOP to trade the Jazz that LAL pick? I mean at the very least it helps restore the balance of the universe so we can all go back to rooting for LAL losses, the actual pick be damned.
For the record, after this last go around with the jerseys and color scheme, I'd be down to include the Jazz name. Could even say we are in talks to Memphis to trade as Grizzlies works for the Jazz (even keeps the "zz") and Memphis is nicked named "music city" (albeit more for blues and country then Jazz).
Let’s do a three way where NO gets the Jazz name, we get the Lakers pick and rights to become the Salt Lakers, and the Lakers become the Los Angeles Pelicans. The naming rights to the Jazz for the Lakers pick is a tough call. Hmmm...
Do we still get the Lakers pick?We should just do a straight across trade with New Orleans in the NFL. The Jazz name for the Saints name. I can’t think of a more even and better trade than that.
Only if the Lakers become the Pelicans.Do we still get the Lakers pick?
