It’s amazing how obsessed this guy is with me. Throughout all of his alts, no matter how little I engage with him, he’s always whining about me. I make one post about the absurdity of democrats controlling everything and jazzy has a stroke, whining about how “everyone” has ganged up on him.

As I’ve said before, if your hardware job sucks and you’re unhappy in life, conduct some introspection. Get better training, go back to school, get a better job, and build a better life. You don’t need to always be a victim.

However, I checked your posting history, and it seems your first foray into GD was this. The first poster to respond was TheThriller, and he is apt to categorize and label. So I understand why you feel you were instantly attacked. By contrast, my response was this, free of any personal attacks. We continued on for a few posts, quite pleasantly.

Over the next few pages, AFAICT, exactly one poster (mentioned above) labeled you. You then took that and said "everyone" was labeling you. It wasn't everyone, just one guy.


Perhaps you should take your frustrations directly to the poster responsible, and stop blaming everyone else.

I've been where you are, in this very forum. Fifteen or so years ago, I felt as though there were very few people that agreed with me, and I argued with every single poster that was here back then that you would now consider on my side. It takes a psychological toll, I don't know if I could handle that today.


Democrats are in the middle. I'd like to move further left. I hear the Green party has abandoned their anti-vax rhetoric, if that's true, I'll probably start voting Green.


I'll stop thinking of Trump when another person becomes the Republican nominee.

You folks can’t even be honest about the dumbest ****, what is even the point? No wonder you can’t have political discussion here. You folks need to be able to change with the breeze at a moments notice. I said, 'The adjective is "Democratic". Using "Democrat" as an adjective makes you look partisan or stupid.' I took phrase "makes you look" to be a clear indication that I was referring to appearance as opposed to substance. Since I agreed with your point in the very next sentence, I thought I had been clear. I had no idea you thought I indicated that you were partisan or stupid, much less both. I apologize for causing you this pain. I'll try to be more careful in the future about distinguishing between appearance and substance.

I have political discussions in here all the time. I have learned a good deal from some of the regular conservative posters in here.

I know most of you are “anti-war” except for the war in Ukraine and maybe a couple of other ones, but how would you feel about a war with China? Would you be opposed to that one?
Because although the USA’s official policy is that we recognize the One China Policy we still send representatives to Taiwan (that according to official policy we recognize as part of China) against Chinas wishes (both parties btw have sent people) to sell them weapons!!! If this and other stupidity leads to a proxy war with China through Taiwan will you make another exception to your anti-war values to allow for this one too? Does it depend on who the president is?

In all honesty, he probably forgot which troll account he was using. I’ll never understand the need for some people to log onto social media to merely seek negative attention. I get why, you can sense the lack of self-confidence, deep interpersonal connections with others, and narcissism. But I’ll never understand it. I do think our country needs to do a lot more to address loneliness. But I don’t have many realistic ideas for it. Social media is no substitute for authentic in-person relationships with others. Yet, people continue to feed this troll daily. Sigh

Of course, it starts at the person in the mirror. Society can’t be blamed if you’re just a jackass that no one wants to be around. No amount of social safety nets can compensate for someone just being a ****** person.

I'm fully against war in Ukraine. I wish it ended today. For that to happen Russia would need to leave. Ukraine is beyond justified in resisting being conquered and NATO is completely justified in providing them with support against the unjustified invasion by Russia.

Russia caused the war in Ukraine. Russia is at fault. Russia is the party that needs to change their actions. There should be no reward for invading another nation. Not in Ukraine or anywhere else, like Taiwan.

I'm not in favor of fighting in general. That doesn't mean that if someone gets punched and it is clear that more punches are coming that I would advocate for them to drop their hands and just take the punches to get the fight over faster. That would be absurd, but that is the argument being made in regard to supporting Ukraine.

One thing that’s becoming more and more frustrating to me personally is how some people in our country keep excusing Russia. Ukraine didn’t start this war. Ukraine wasn’t poisoning dissidents with radioactive tea. Ukraine wasn’t pumping Covid disinformation into western democracies. Ukraine wasn’t investing in militias in Africa. Nor did Ukraine **** with our 2016 elections. What Russia did to us in 2016 could be justified as an act of war. Yet, as western democratic leaders tend to do, we show patience for belligerence even though patience only emboldens evil dictators.

Because they’re the “wild man” with nukes, we keep excusing that belligerent country and its evil leader over and over and over and over again.

At some pt, enough is enough and the gloves need to come off. I’m glad Ukraine has stood up to Putin. If I were Biden, I would’ve provided them with the F-16s and ATACMS long ago in an attempt to end this. If you hate war then you need to cheer for Ukraine. Once Ukraine wins and Russia loses, the war will be over. And I hope this war drains Russia of young men, military, and treasure so they can’t wage war anymore. It’s about time that country join the rest of us in the 21st century.
