We all get labeled, and we all label others. You've done more than your fair share of labeling.

However, I checked your posting history, and it seems your first foray into GD was this. The first poster to respond was TheThriller, and he is apt to categorize and label. So I understand why you feel you were instantly attacked. By contrast, my response was this, free of any personal attacks. We continued on for a few posts, quite pleasantly.

Over the next few pages, AFAICT, exactly one poster (mentioned above) labeled you. You then took that and said "everyone" was labeling you. It wasn't everyone, just one guy.

From putin puppet to maga republican etc. I’m attacked and questioned about every single claim I make all the while being called a trump supporter or maga etc. I’ve not been allowed my opinions without being bullied and and you all know it. You all pile on and tag team anyone with a different opinion here and it’s pretty shameful and simple minded.

Perhaps you should take your frustrations directly to the poster responsible, and stop blaming everyone else.

I've been where you are, in this very forum. Fifteen or so years ago, I felt as though there were very few people that agreed with me, and I argued with every single poster that was here back then that you would now consider on my side. It takes a psychological toll, I don't know if I could handle that today.

You all should ask yourselves if anyone in the world has an opinion outside of the mainstream democrat narrative that you would even consider listening to. What if anything are you willing to move to the middle on and why don’t you want to discuss any of that stuff?

Democrats are in the middle. I'd like to move further left. I hear the Green party has abandoned their anti-vax rhetoric, if that's true, I'll probably start voting Green.

Why does trump have to dictate every aspect of your own opinions? In that sense his is a dictator over you. He already dictates what you think and believe because it must be opposite of him.

I'll stop thinking of Trump when another person becomes the Republican nominee.

Honestly I think the main stream democrat narrative would be pretty satisfied with these issues outside of the trans stance. Especially considering your perceived stance on censorship and the war. I do think some democrat politicians are starting to be concerned about the border.

Why do you feel student debt should not be forgiven? Do you know that student loans won’t even be cleared if you file bankruptcy? What about already existing forgiveness programs are those okay or should those not exist? Although I think Higher Ed currently has significant problems I think free education is one of the best things we could do for our society. Even if it failed I think the side effects of having a more educated population would be minimal. Mostly I think taxes are better spent on projects like free education for Americans vs the destruction of Ukraine and a proxy war with Russia. Or war with Syria, Afghanistan, and building and maintaining 700 military bases all over the world at the cost of nearly 1 trillion every year.

I’m also sick and tired of having to see and donate to a go fund me every time someone I know or love has to have surgery or gets sick because our healthcare system is ****. I see it all the time from people with great jobs and “great” healthcare that need extra donations because they can’t afford cancer treatments or surgery. Meanwhile folks in France are striking because the government wants to up the retirement age to 64. These are folks that already have free healthcare, dental, pensions, better wages, and unions. The retirement age is already 67 here and the life expectancy is going down. I want to see more unions form and I want to see less taxes. At the very least we need less money spent on policing and warmongering the entire world. Americans are getting ****ed and all people can talk about are some guys small hands or some other guys dementia and other stupid ****.

I disagree on helping Ukraine (we are risking no US lives, and the true spending level is so much lower because most of the help we're giving them is coming from stiff near it's expiration date), but otherwise I agree with this post.

Which I responded in the long post. You are talking about the crap I brought up. Just because you feel someone is evil, doesn't give the government the right to use unethical force to silence one of their citizens. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

And it's his right. But it's our right to keep him out of office through the election. It's our right not to watch him on CNN town halls. It's our right not to get on truth social and see his postings. It's our right not to follow his followers on social media and through the tv, radio and podcasts. It's your right to personally silence him through the content you consume. He can be pretty silent to you if you want him to be.

Ya we should remove word like "someone" or "evil and bad" etc etc.
Just use the word trump. Im good with him being silenced with shenanigans or whatever. Poor fella would still be rich and do just fine even if he was silenced. The country and world would be better off though.

Fyi I think war sucks and never want war to exist. I would be super stoked if Russia never invaded ukraine and would also be super stoked if they would pack up and go back to russia right now. Not sure if that makes me a war monger to you or not but those are my thoughts.

It’s amazing how obsessed this guy is with me. Throughout all of his alts, no matter how little I engage with him, he’s always whining about me. I make one post about the absurdity of democrats controlling everything and jazzy has a stroke, whining about how “everyone” has ganged up on him.

You folks can’t even be honest about the dumbest ****, what is even the point? No wonder you can’t have political discussion here. You folks need to be able to change with the breeze at a moments notice. That way you can keep on doing what the democrats are doing (the opposite of whatever trump dictates) I finally think I figured it out.

I said, 'The adjective is "Democratic". Using "Democrat" as an adjective makes you look partisan or stupid.' I took phrase "makes you look" to be a clear indication that I was referring to appearance as opposed to substance. Since I agreed with your point in the very next sentence, I thought I had been clear. I had no idea you thought I indicated that you were partisan or stupid, much less both. I apologize for causing you this pain. I'll try to be more careful in the future about distinguishing between appearance and substance.

In all honesty, he probably forgot which troll account he was using. I’ll never understand the need for some people to log onto social media to merely seek negative attention. I get why, you can sense the lack of self-confidence, deep interpersonal connections with others, and narcissism. But I’ll never understand it. I do think our country needs to do a lot more to address loneliness. But I don’t have many realistic ideas for it. Social media is no substitute for authentic in-person relationships with others. I'm not in favor of fighting in general. That doesn't mean that if someone gets punched and it is clear that more punches are coming that I would advocate for them to drop their hands and just take the punches to get the fight over faster. That would be absurd, but that is the argument being made in regard to supporting Ukraine.

One thing that’s becoming more and more frustrating to me personally is how some people in our country keep excusing Russia. Ukraine didn’t start this war. Ukraine wasn’t poisoning dissidents with radioactive tea. Ukraine wasn’t pumping Covid disinformation into western democracies. Ukraine wasn’t investing in militias in Africa. Nor did Ukraine **** with our 2016 elections. What Russia did to us in 2016 could be justified as an act of war. Yet, as western democratic leaders tend to do, we show patience for belligerence even though patience only emboldens evil dictators.

Because they’re the “wild man” with nukes, we keep excusing that belligerent country and its evil leader over and over and over and over again.

At some pt, enough is enough and the gloves need to come off. I’m glad Ukraine has stood up to Putin. If I were Biden, I would’ve provided them with the F-16s and ATACMS long ago in an attempt to end this. If you hate war then you need to cheer for Ukraine. Once Ukraine wins and Russia loses, the war will be over. And I hope this war drains Russia of young men, military, and treasure so they can’t wage war anymore. It’s about time that country join the rest of us in the 21st century.

Absolutely! If Ukraine decides to concede territory then that is something they can do. They have clearly decided they DO NOT wish to make any such concession.

If Ukraine does what they have done which is to defend themselves against an attack then I think they have every right to do that and I think that world powers are 100% correct in supporting them in that effort.

I wonder how others here feel because I would suspect many politicians do not feel this way. It does embolden Putin and rewards him for invading if Ukraine were to be willing to negotiate peace.
