2023 NBA Draft Megathread

he is definitely better than thor. it's an easy comparison to make because they both played in the g league. miller was a lot better in the g league than thor and thor is more than a year older. it's not even a question. so yeah, are they the same type of player? sure, in the same way david roddy and charles barkley are the same type of player. but it's clear miller is a lot better at basketball than jt thor.
uh I was referencing Klintman being sim to Thor as far as ceiling and probably Klintman is considered by most to be the better overall prospect. Leonard Miller is a lot higher ranked prospect than both. So from what I am hearing about his understanding of the game, that is largely being coveted but everyone is trying to keep it hidden so he falls to them smh.
Miller will be at minimum a 20/10 guy for the next decade and I would not be surprised if he is largely considered the steal of the draft if he goes post lottery. Well him and probably Hawkins if he goes anywhere outside the top 14.

That is not in line with what I'm hearing.

I don’t think this is an amazing draft, but it’s good for the Jazz first two picks.

They have not

This looks like a very very good draft so I'm not sure who you are getting that from. Hands down the deepest draft I have ever seen by a mile.

This is 100% an amazing draft when it comes to depth. It is unreal to see the quality of talent being projected in the 30-40 range in mock drafts.
I have not been as plugged into the draft this year as other years, but around the lottery I heard such sentiments in some podcasts. I think Locke had an episode questioning the strength of the draft.

I guess I'm wrong on this one then. Apologies. So just how strong would you say this draft is? Is it merely above average or is it one of the best in recent years?

I think the sentiment comes from this draft being viewed as really strong... then having most of the Freshmen class either be disappointing, injured, or meh. So if you buy the reasons some of those guys struggled and that the talent is still there... then it could be viewed as still a strong draft. I think its solid/pretty good. I'd say its better than last year by a bunch.

Just gazing over my board and tiers, here's a rough outline of how I feel: Wemby is great, rest of top 6-7 picks is ok, middle of the first round is strong, late first and beyond is kinda boring with some prospects I like but I feel like we do this every year.

I will say there seems to be a lot more excuses this year, some of them valid, but it seems like almost every player has a reason why they weren't as good as they could have been. There's also not a ton of good upperclassmen. I think Hawkins and Bufkin will be the only upperclassmen in the top 20, and we might not have a single upperclassman in the lottery. The freshman class is good and I wouldn't disagree if you said it was strong, but the upperclassmen crop is almost nonexistent.

ferguson compared miller to thor - you must have missed that.

f this pgab a hole and therefore same to you smh
I got no secrets and never changed my user name
Identical twins are more different from one another then you are from PGAB. Not only are the writing voices identical, the delusional perspectives and irrational lashing out are as well. You basically admitted it in another thread as well.

I am not bothered by this charade, but I am a little concerned about your need to carry it out.

With the hiring of Winger in Washington... I think they are much more likely to blow that **** up and trade Beal. May still try and keep Kuzma and Zinger to preserve the asset... but I would bet some Beal rumors start up soon.

Houston seems like the obvious team if they are looking to win now as the reports suggest.
