Just watched the end, but he came back in and they went to him multiple times down the stretch including when he gave them the lead after a TO. Did get blocked by Harrison Barnes on a crucial possession, though.

The skill level is so high I’m not sure hand checking would do much but they could get rid of some of the bs foul drawing that’s for sure.
 
Kind of a double edged defensive night for DJM. Did well when he was switched to be the primary defender of Luka but apparently he was late on help defense early.

Quin said that in the 2nd quarter they tried to start doubling and trapping Luka, but didnt execute. According to one guy who was sitting behind the bench DJ should have been that secondary defender but he was constantly late which got Quin animated.

Jalen Johnson was the primary defender of Luka initially but later they switched Murray on him who played really solid D against him in the 4th (Quin also credited him for that).
