2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

Who runs the point in sactown? They need a point. They also feel like they are in competition for playoffs or they wouldn't grab Lavine so name a list of available starting point guards. Sexton is on a very short list.

They don’t have matching salary now. Sacramento has sailed as an option.

We gotta hope we can get them to Miami for some decent return in some kind of 3+ team trade. Or piece it out somehow. Looking bleak tbh.

Who would you like to see traded?

For me I want to keep sexton and Kessler.
Trade Collins and Clarkson.
I might be willing to trade keyonte if we got a good first but I don't think we can so I would keep him

Why would Ainge need to ease up? Because it's the darling Lakers knocking on the door with a **** offer for Kessler?
Lakers scope to improve the team changed from looking 1-3 years ahead to now looking 1-7 years ahead. A guy like Kessler who helps them in the short term AND is also a long term prospect is much more valuable to them now.

So from where I'm looking from Ainge doesnt need to ease up at all.

Would Kessler for Lively work? Lively is likely done for the season, which would be perfect for us. If we decide to tank next season too, we could trade him. Dallas would get a good player that would help them position themselves for the play offs.

If we’re trying to see this tank through and pull off another one next year we’re going to need to offload all of our quality vets by next trade deadline. To get optimal value on our ‘26 graduating class, they need to be traded by this deadline but I understand that probably won’t happen.

Additionally, if we’re really trying to tank for 3 years or whatever, even keeping Kessler isn’t a lock. Seems to me Locke is signaling something when he hammers that point but maybe not.
