That's theoretical/fear-mongering, without any actual explanation as to how we arrive at that end.I heard a lot of talk about the demise of the family and by proxy our American civilization.

As I said earlier (as a joke) 'Fact: All civilizations that are now extinct had gay people, therefore, gay people sewed the seeds of their destruction'Yes and no depending on how you mean this. I think we are seeing the downfall of the family. That will have a crushing impact on our society from which it may not recover.
I do not think gays marrying is any way party to that downfall.
Now you want government involved in "homosexual relationship regulation" again.
There is no such "individual" right to get any relationship recognized as marriage by government.
Marriage has always been restricted to one man and one woman. How has this suddenly become "unconstitutional?"
So homosexuals want the "preferential tax treatment" of being stay at home mommies? Makes sense.
You mean like smoking, gambling, drinking, eating junkfood, etc.
Link?Marriage has not always been defined as one man and one woman. Where the hell do you get this from?.

The right is to have the government not prohibit a specific type of consensual relationship. Rights, in my view, provide for a freedom of action by an individual. Rights do not provide goods or services to individuals. The government is the protector of our rights. In this case they are not only not protecting the rights of gay couples, they are prohibiting gay people from exercising their freedom to marry each other. I'd like them to stop.
Funny. All the pro-gay people here keep saying that allowing gay marriage won't hurt anyone.
Well, then NOT allowing it won't hurt anyone either.

Except gay people. Try to keep up here.
Dude they will save a lot of money on the wedding alone...not to mention the divorce.
Wrong. That's a fact.
Ok, it's a FACT that not allowing gay marriage won't hurt anyone.

Does anyone else find it amusing to have LDS people saying marriage has always been defined as involving one man and one woman?
