rep power might be different from rep points somehow, but I thought I saw an explanation from colton about it that gave the formula for rep rank as involving a formula including posrep others give you, "time in service", and your number of contributions. I think 2500 posts will multiply my Rep Power somehow, and place me higher in the rep rankings, too. And PKM rules because he has 250000000 posts or something. . . . .
 
So at any rate, I like this thread. Right up there with Buckner I think. You can beef up your rep power with anything cute, smart, but above all, short.
 
I had a short conversation with a gold bug yesterday who told me he thinks gold is going to $4000 and then said he's managing his retired mother's IRA. Please pray for this woman.
 
My user name was supposed to be the name of a player and his uniform number. But then he decided on a different number, without asking my permission.
 
My dog acquired a small wound on his hind leg, which he refused to leave alone, so now he is wearing the cone of shame. He used to look at me with an expression that said "Hey! Great to see you! I've missed you!" Now his expression says "Please shoot me now. Please." I feel horrible for him.

I'm a recovering Jazzfanz-aholic. I used to care about posting here and reading what people posted.
Now I chew Jazzfanz gum and rarely bother or care what crazy things you alt's are posting.

I don't know if this thread will ever get to be as long as the potential draftee threads, but I'm more than willing to try to get it there!

It's about just doing something. . . anything. . . including running your post count. I always swing for the bleachers, that's why I didn't mention UGLI as a worthy goal. . . . but hey, post count should count more than rep. We'll get there.
 
The one marvelous thing about your number of posts. . . . . . your number won't go down just because someone negposts you.

Go for volume all you want, but if your goalpost is velocity then you've failed miserably.
