Following potential 2013 draftees

Rev hes a nice fit here in utah, if we select him with the #3 pick, i say its Gordon Hayward over Paul George all over again

Otto v. Shabazz

shabazz is the #2 player on my board, behind Len. i know thats far off consensus these days, i plan to be correct though.

me thinks otto has some bust potential, i wouldent touch hiim at 3 or 8, maybe 10-12

also i believe Shabazz Muhammad will command a double team in the NBA, does anyone think that of Otto?

I would be fine if we had another situation like Hayward vs George. As long as it is not Raul Lopez vs Tony Parker. Haha, that was a terrible draft. I don't know that much about Bazz though, but I hear if he drops far, he is going to be a steal. maybe we could even get him at 14 if things keep going like they are with his draft stock.

he would be the highest rated player ive ever seen drop to 14, ever, in any draft. i still prefer him over Mclemore(PKM, are you still with me on this? or have you soured on Bazz too?)

Muhammad was double and triple teamed in HS, doubled the second he got the ball at UCLA, i dont see how NBA teams (or fans of the NBA game) would think all of a sudden this kid is going to be defensible by 1 player in the pros, this player will kill you, smiling. i see him as the closer for the jazz, if we land shabazz in the draft ill be the first to mention that weve got a shot at winning the championship, next season

for young bazz i cant see his worst case playing out much worse than Joe Johnson, like i said many months ago, i believe this kid to be the GEM of the class, especially on the wing.

EDIT also i think if OKC lands Shabazz at 12 to put between Durant and Westbrook, we might have a serious problem getting a championship here in Utah

EDIT 2: actually i lied, Aaron Rodgers was the highest rated prospect ive ever seen fall that far. #truestory, i was a SR in highschool telling people i prefered rodgers over Alex Smith, to me smith looked like a system player, and Rodgers looked like the goods

We need to go out and use our draft picks to get this kid.

I have been watching him since junior high, and I have him rated at a 97.3. He is going to explode in the NBA. I think he has some of Dikembe vs Olojuwan in him. It is like Amare made a baby with Oscar the Grouch and made Big Bird rase the kid.

If we get him and Aminu with our draft picks, we will just be the best team ever. Trust me, I have him at 97.4 now, and Aminu at 98 on my small board ranking.

He is the highest prospect I have ever seen that can grow a blonde patch of hair that well. Just simply amazing hair changing ability.

Point_God_Alec_Burks, thanks for tipping us off about Aminu. We are going to have a great team if we can get him and Hasheem The Blonde Beet. We need to draft both of them.

i had thabeet at least a 95 grade.

most of the top quarterback evaluators in the world said Jamarcus Russel was the best prospect theyve ever seen, if your going to hold my feet to the fire, ill take my players and we will see what happens, i love that people will make static judgements on 23 year old Al Farooq aminu but then say some 22 year old rookie is a project, i fail to see how that works.

Thabeet should improve every year and i think hes quite athletic/able bodied, he may have an unusually long career for someone of that height, you guys would love it if we had thabeet, hes really not all that bad, he just lives in the shadow of his draft selection now, like marvin

53mins played 7-10fg's 5-10ft's 7orebs 14rebs 1stl 6blocks 19pts, in the craziest game of the year helped really give him momentum going into the draft

np brah. some are worried about teams going small on us, Slide Favors to 5, Aminu to 4 now we have footspeed rebounding and massive help defense potential, playing "small"

GM Dennis Lindsey said Jazz are open about what they'll do in first round. "Open is a good thing," he said. Could pick, move up, move down.
.
Lindsey said No. 21 can be a good player and he isn't sure there is enough separation from 14 caliber guy to higher picks to use 21.
.
But, Lindsey said, "I think we can move up. I think we've already had a few loose conversations around that so there's some potential there"

I personally think 'Bazz's "dropping" is a bunch of bull ****. Some of it is teams hoping he'll drop and using smoke-screening and some of it is scouts expressing doubt but wouldn't pass at the end of the day. At the end of the day, a blue-chipper that can score by himself doesn't fall too far in a draft devoid of top-end talent, especially since it takes only one team that likes him. And in the top of the lottery, teams are STARVED.

I think so too. I've not flinched from saying I'd be shocked if he dropped past 5.
I have said 2 or 3.. but could just as easily say he's #1.
