Breaking Bad (thread will have *spoilers*)

Morefeasts is making a mistake. Everyone knows he's making a mistake. He doesn't care. That's the whole story. Trying to talk him out of it is only going to make him more convinced that he's totally fine proceeding forward without seeing the show's history. To put it in basketball terms, it's the equivalent of looking at the score at halftime in Game 2 of the NBA Finals and saying you know what happened in the playoffs.

As for the confession, it's a genius play that goes right to the heart of good negotiation: you've always got to give the other side something to lose. I don't think this is the end of the story though. Hank may yet find a way to get Walt even if it means going to jail himself.

Oh brother. It is a TV show. It is fiction.
Guess what! This stuff didn't happen. It's all made up.
You're concern with thorough knowledge of the history of the story is misguided.
It has a loose adherence to logic and realism.
It is fantasy. Part of the reason that the story is interesting is the plot is absurd,
and the characters are beyond belief.

Says the guy that is watching the show enough to be chatting about it on a message board with people he's never met before...........

You miss my point.
I am not saying that I do not enjoy watching the show.
I am saying that I do not need to watch all the previous episodes first to enjoy watching the show, or to discuss it.

Furthermore, now that I understand past events and Walt's and Jesse's characters better.... I expect that his will help me enjoy and understand future episodes better.

Clearly you are off because you were asking about a major plot line that you knew nothing about.

That's like someone watching the last 15 minutes of "The Sixth Sense" and then wanting to chat about the movie with people that just watched the whole film. You are just setting yourself up for failure.

and I don't have to watch the first half of a basketball game to get some enjoyment and understanding from watching the second half.

I'd suggest you lurk in this thread rather than post in it. I think you'll find that others will likely discount your opinions regarding the show given that you've acknowledged you've missed the vast majority of it.

Clearly I didn't know that Walt killed Mike, and now I do. So what? What sort of "failure" are you talking about?

I get you Feasts
While most would argue that the utility Feasts will get out of watching the end of the series would be greater had he watched all the episodes up until this point, he is deciding that the costs of watching the entire series are of greater value than the potential additional utility.

That's what I've decided as well

I acknowledged that there were two parts of the plot I had questions about.
I don't see why you have to make a federal case about it.
You can take your suggestions and stick them up your elitist butt.

Thank you LazyD. I'm done. For now.

No worries on ruining anything.
I'm watching it this season, but I'm not planning on watching the 70 + episodes in their entirety before next Sunday anyway.
I've got the jist of the show, even though I am unaware of some details.
