back to stupid pedestrian tricks - those directionally challenged folks who cross the street by taking a long diagonal path to get to the other side - just get across, please!

This is the standard migration pattern of the far far far from endangered Walmart Hippo. Most often they walk right down the middle of the parking lot drive lane, turning only slightly as their gimpy foot causes them to waddle off-course. Worst-case scenario is an entire familial herd bogarting the entire parking lot, strung out side by side like so many rotund paper dolls or pillsbury dough people, listing side to side in a feeble attempt at forward locomotion.

Every time I see one I think "somebody get that boy a mo-ped".
I have a cousin who posts stuff like at least once a week. She'll post something like "I'm so sick of this ****". She's a drama queen though and I think she does it just for the attention.
There's a new trend among many distracted folks who cross the street without looking. And this doesn't just pertain to kids but to as adults as well. I dont understand it.

Cell phones. Cell phones are ruining everything.
But I 100% agree, looking for traffic before darting across a street is pretty out of style right now.

we need more than "Don't text and drive" educational campaigns - - we need "Don't text and walk" campaigns too! Folks can't even look up from their damn screens. I saw a guy yesterday walk into a post and not even look up from his screen, he tried two more steps to get through the post before he realized the post wasn't going to get out of his way.
Agreed. It's amazing watching pedestrians now.
