I know that this is not going to be a popular opinion but isn't this the perfect game for the Jazz this year?
Favors looked great.
Kanter looked great.
Burks exceeded anything that he has done at any point in his NBA career.
Hayward was in foul trouble but still played a decent game.
Gobert showed that he can go up against physical players and still be a presence on the floor.
The Jazz had a chance to tie the game at the end.....................but still lost?
Does it get much better than that?
You know what I loved about this game?
We came within three points of knocking out a championship contender, with their best player going of for 40-- all while we only dressed 10 jerseys. Marvin, Rush, and Burke all out with injury.
Im telling you-- this team will not be as bad as people think we will be. We have so much ****ing talent, and every player on this roster doesn't want to lose.
Sorry to the tank crowd, but I'm expecting lotsa heart from this group of guys.
Great start to the season. Go Jazz!
I mean OKC's good and all but this Western Conference champ / finals contender stuff is kinda dishonest. They're without Westbrook. They would have crushed us with Westbrook

For the record Kanter didn't get enough touches for my like. I M O

Thats true-- but Westbrook is pretty hot/cold as well.
I thought Reggie Jackson really **** on our chest too, with his threes and his BS clutch trip to the charity stripe.

I was more worried about the fact that Kanter never boxes out.
