Jazz @ Nets Nov. 5th 5:30 MT: Brandon Rush Might Play

Especially not when the Jazz don't have any particularly good individual talent. We don't have a single all-star on our team and we have no offensive system. I can't see how anybody feels optimistic about this mess.

You forgot that we are all dumb. That is how we can be optimistic.

Hayward just emphasized what our offense is all about.

He grabs the inbounds pass. Dribbles it up the court. And chucks an ill-advised 3 that airballs. No one else touched the ball. 15+ remained on the shot clock.

I've seen ward basketball teams with more of an offensive structure. Yet, our coach hasn't a clue.

Did I tell you that I play ward basketball?

In his defense he did have a good amount of space tempting the shot. but true, true.

What are you talking about, Favors and Kanter have only missed 4 shots of 11 taken.
"They" = the Nets.

By percentage, the Jazz are doing a better job rebounding, grabbing 9 of 23 possible offensive boards (39%), with the Nets grabbing 5 of 14 (36%). Unfortunately, 2 of those offensive boards were basically ties that led to jump balls, which were both won by Brooklyn (the second of which was Pierce illegally stealing the tip...); those ended up being charged as offensive rebounds AND turnovers for Kanter, instead of defensive rebounds for Brooklyn.

Well, I'm at the game. I'll post afterwards. My first observation is that Kanter and Favors are ideally both PFs. Brook Lopez has a size/reach advantage over Kanter at least.

The Nets have so many rotation players, no one has to play more than 20 minutes.

Blanche is a knucklehead.

Was a bad shot but he shot it cause he was trying for a 2 for 1 opportunity.

If we think Wiggins is the cure all then we better expect another few years of this.

Lebron James is literally the only guy who could make this offense work and win.

I can't believe I'm seeing a Jazz offense so stagnant and selfish. What the hell is Sloan doing? Isn't he an advisor? He can't see that Ty Corbin isn't running an offense?
