I'd give them Favors, Thabo and a 2nd. Just need to say no to the crutch that is Favors. He's a good backup center but re-signing him is Dennis' excuse to stick with the status quo. Have to move on to a different PF.

If jabari isn't the answer, then Utah doesn't pick up his option. And all they've lost is a couple of expirings which they need to renounce to sign FA's.

Boylen might be the worst coach in history. His team is ***. Benching Jabari is legit dumb as ****.
 
Niang has been very ineffective offensively the last couple games. Even when very open, his shot is not going down. At the start of the season I had a lot of hope that he would be a diamond in the rough but whatever stroke he had is now lost.

For a lot of these guys there's a reason they aren't starting for an NBA team. Their limitations keep them in the g league. Sometimes they come back out better for it, some are a flash in the pan, but most are g league players. Niang is a nice player, likely will never be anything but that.
 
I was wondering if Chicago was showcasing him for Utah but looks like he only got time because Bobby Portis was out.

He reminds me of those NBA players from the 80's that would say they're "playing themselves into shape", lol.

A shame really, the guy is a legit offensive talent.

I don’t completely disagree (I too think Boyle’s stinks) but Parker doesn’t give a **** about defense (and as a natural byproduct winning and his team and teammates) and doesn’t seem to have a work ethic. Just look at his body. They’re the youngest team in the league and Boylen’s trying to create a culture and hold players accountable.

I respect that. They have some pieces and legit assets there. You don’t want to **** up their growth with some country club atmosphere. But Boylen does suck.

No way he’d do it and with the evolution of the sport, it may very well have passed him by, but I’d go after JVG and if they got him see if he could bring Thibs on as an assistant. Doubt he gets another HC gig. With Carter, Marki, and Portis’ length up front, they may be able to wildly improve their team defensive play.
