I stayed at work too long reading Jazzfanz, and now it is raining buckets and I don't want to go out to my car.

Three more years of Conservative rule because of ****ing red necks and retirees in Queensland. Three years of attacks on workers rights, medicare, public broadcasting, public schooling and wages. **** how can people be so ****ing stupid?
 
When people get in a minor fender bender and think like CSI Special Idiots Unit is gonna come out and and do a full forensic analysis on their accident so they leave their car in the middle of traffic when they could very very easily just pull to the side of the road.

The first thing the cop that shows up is going to tell them is to move their cars out of traffic.

Yep.
I refuse to go camping on the weekend anymore.
10 years from now I will probably just give it up altogether since the weekdays will be packed with people and the wilderness will be much smaller and farther away.

Yeah I'm always confused by the people who do most of their camping on major holidays.

That Everest pic is nuts. Kinda takes away from the "accomplishment" a bit when it's akin to standing in the line at Space Mountain. Granted, i couldn't climb Everest, but I'm an old, bald, fat guy who can't do most things life has to offer.

Summit K2 or Annapurna, I'll be impressed.

You should really really watch The Dawn Wall and Free Solo.
Both fantastic movies about amazing record breaking accomplishments in climbing.
The Dawn Wall is the better movie but Free Solo is the more impressive accomplishment and is just plain edge of your seat scary
