What's new

Jazz vs. Kings pre-season tonight

As if this will be the way we defend when real competition starts. Rudy will crack the whip if there is even a hint of this.

Looking at our personnel there's no reason to believe this is the kind of defense we're going to see all season.

Lets maybe wait until we start playing games with a modicum of importance before we start freaking tf out k.

Well lets focus on the positives, we have 15 assists at the half, shooting close to 54% from field, ant TO's are single digit.

Last year against NBA teams in pre season we gave up 98.3ppg in 3 games.

This year thus far in 2 games, 130.5ppg. 78 thus far against the kings in the first half. It's a big difference, huge in fact, but also its important not to get carried away with it. This type of defense I imagine will not be the the defense we play, after it's all said and done after this season's 82 games.
Last year we brought back the exact same team. Exact. We knew our defense. Gobert is a great defender, but it requires an entire team strategy to fully utilize him. He’s both the cornerstone and keystone of the defense. The rest of the pieces need to figure out where they go to show you the true power of what the keystone and cornerstone can do.

The best part of this game is how hard we're going to make them pay for it during the reg season.
