We seriously lucked out with House. Org should prioritize getting him back. The collapse would’ve been significantly worse were it not for him fighting for his NBA life. It often looked like he was the only one alive.

House and Juancho were great for us....and while I think they are decent players on their own, we did get them out of the lost and found. When you desperately need specific type of player and that player is willing to play hard they don't need to have much talent. I like them, I want them back, but I also want players who do the same thing who are more talented. Their success was a teaser on how good a more talented player in the same role could be.

I know what you mean, but I think players that play and train hard have value on every team. Especially ones that are trying to keep a pilot light of good culture on through dark times.

I think Juan is a little better than just a dude that plays hard. I think he was derailed in part because of the movie thing and covid. I think he came in late to camp in Minny but may be misremembering. Boston was stacked so of course he didn't get run there. I think he is kind of like the best you can hope for on a minimum. We won't add anyone on more than the minimum unless we move like $10M in salary. I think a Mike deal to Memphis as a sign and trade for KA and maybe we get one more guy (Konchar or Tillman) if they don't want to give up what it takes to keep Jones.

Maybe, I don't think the shooting is real (but maybe it's 35% ish)....he's definitely worth bringing back. I kinda like the bench with Butler, Paschall, Juancho, House, NAW, Forrest etc. I'd bring all these guys back and give them a chance. Let Hardy try to figure out what works best. Still like to get someone more solid, but I think a player or two will rise from that group and become a good player/asset.

Don't think anyone's mentioned yet that Juancho had a disastrous experience in Boston at the beginning of the year last year under Ukoka/Hardy. Don't know if that will have an effect.

When does Jaunchos deal become fully guaranteed? I think there is a team option on his deal with only a couple million guaranteed.

why? he's an inconsistent shooter and doesn't really do much else. in fact, i'm not really sure what he's good at other than jumping. already 28 years old and couldn't get off the bench at all for gsw in the playoffs.

if he were 21, you could perhaps justify it as a high upside get, but at 28, just not sure he's a rotation guy for a good team.

He's a better defender than most of the guys currently on our roster.
