1500 Missing Children

Me married to an immigrant. Went through the legal process, I was targeted by the IRS, they were dragging their feet(homeland secruity) over her permanent residency, even though she graduated from US university on scholarship with a near 4.0, was one of the only bilingual nurses at a top pediatric hospital, I had a 40k salary job and sponsored her, and we were married. On top of all that just to make sure it was icing on the cake, my mother cosponsored her who works for the fed government.

The hospital was going to have to fire her if they didn't get it processed by a certain date, and it was about to come. I called and called we had everything in order to the T, all timely, drove across states, talk about not getting the same person on the phone, I wouldn't even get the same damn STATE on the phone calling the same number. I'd have to explain everything from the beginning everytime because they'd never give you a direct line. They finally said no worries, just fill out this form for expedite and you'll get a response in a week. Two weeks later I get a denied letter because I didn't provide sufficient proof that "my wife loosing her job would cause financial hardship" I replied to them they know more about me than I do and I provided them everything possible - what the hell more could I do?

she was crying about to give up and move back to her home country, there was nothing we could do. Previous to this they also wanted IRS filings for my little EBAY coin business I had started 3 weeks prior. HELLO? I have no IRS documents for this little 1k sole proprietorship I just started a month prior. I know for a fact in my heart of hearts, the IRS (the Federal Reserve's co company interest collectors) (founded same year guys, IRS collects the interest and pays the federal reserve shareholders (which are more secretive than the cia per Ron Paul)

5 years later it was proven the IRS was instructed to illegally target "tea party" or patriot type (media coined terms) type orgs. I didn't have one of those, but I solid small pure silver and a couple gold coins for very very small profit, they did not like that. That's the absolute enemy to fiat money.

So what happened? I wasn't going to tuck my tail. I wrote a one page letter and mailed that joker out all across the country, to every senator, congressman, the white house, state senators, governors, I was going to let everyone know this story. One quote from that letter was "It's like this process was created by mean 5th graders"

I got two replies, only one sincere, and it was from Ron Paul - who wasn't even my congressman. He printed my letter on his Congressional letterhead and mailed it to my appropriate representative who wasn't doing ****. Then it got done. I had aids calling me all of a sudden after Dr. Paul did that for me. I am forever grateful to Ron Paul.

This my personal true story.

Any response? Illegal immigration is promoted. The president is an actor and is more or less forced into every single decision they make for the play. It's all a show, like the wizard of oz.

I have many illegal immigrant friends, one of which goes to the ER for free anytime her daughter gets a little rash. Meanwhile citizens have to pay 1000s, Illegal immigration is promoted. The president leaves every 4 or 8 years. The people who never leave are the real power brokers. How do you not comprehend this?

Love is the answer. Arguing over politics is a facade to keep you docile and divided.

One fact I left out, for those that don't know, filing all these forms cost thousands of dollars even to get denied.
 
You honestly think they targeted you because you were selling silver for 3 weeks? That suddenly the government was out to get you over that?

Oh my jazzfanz, I don't "think" - I know. Should have made that point more clear, we got a letter stating it was being held up until said IRS documents were produced. Which obviously didn't exist.

Thus the question naturally arising, what the hell does this have to do with permanent residency of my wife. On her own merrit she should have been a shoe in.

Some people in high places----really high places, not just dopers---- actually have plans for the world. Soro's, Gates, some other billionaires are not the honchos actually, but right-hand servants of the old money.

The plan is to create a world with all nations more or less the same, and all the little fearful identities you can imagine, every little unique class you could invent, all living in fear on one another and on their last dime, more or less. Good for compliance folks. And stuff like wars, riots, gangs.... all useful to justify more intrusive power and more absolute control.

It's not secret, it's not even a conspiracy. Google the UN. Look at the charter, look at hundreds of official resolutions. The US has been wearing its goodwill thin playing cop or doing wars or drone strikes for longer than I've been alive. My bil was a soldier in Korea in 1952, was head of a little battalion of maybe 200 US "Police action" gun-toters. He was ordered to sneak behind enemy lines and take a certain hill. when they got there, the floodlights came on and the commies taunted the men before gunning them down, massacre style form gun emplacements all around them.

Turns out, the US has to provide detailed plans for every military action under the UN. We sorta stopped doing that after a while, but the rule is still on the books, and we still coordinate our actions with major parties.

We have guvmint run amok. Time to take it back a step or two.

I don't say he isn't worth watching and questioning. That Elaine Chou should be fired, and Mitt should not be running for office in Utah with every intention to represent the Bush family in the Senate. Amazing all the rino reps are doing in Utah to make sure the party can't get another Lee in office.

Sorry folks, but this should be an easy slam dunk issue. It shouldn’t be partisan. The treatment of these people is flat out wrong. The moral, human, and constitutional violations in separating families of immigrants, refugees, and others seeking asylum is appalling. Any moral democracy that believes in any sort of bill of rights and/or constitution must agree.

This isn’t an immigration issue. But a human rights issue. If America won’t learn from its own ugly past human rights violations (slavery, forced assimilation of natives, sterilization of minorities) then it can certainly learn from more recent examples throughout the world.

I just read that one of the families is from Brazil. The woman entered illegally and her case was processed. In the meantime, her child was confiscated and sent to a child protection center in Indiana (who knows what the conditions are like there). It took months to process her case. She then entered the process of obtaining custody of her toddler. And now after waiting several more months she’s learned that her child is no where to be found.

If this isn’t a direct violation of several amendments in our bill of rights then its most certainly violations of human rights agreements that we’ve made over the years. And even if you feel like such agreements shouldn’t be honored, you must agree that the treatment of these poor people is completely immoral.

If trump supporters are truly this insecure about themselves and are finding satisfaction and security in hurting refugees, then their psychological problems go much deeper than merely coping with a few lost factory jobs.

If America cannot stand up for human rights in 2018 then what is the point of having a constitution anyway? And where are we headed? How can we lecture China about its human rights violations when we are no better? Where are we headed?

We know how dehumanizing people eventually goes...

But I do think for myself. I think Donald Trump is classless. Period. Based on his first speech the day he descended the escalator in Trump tower I thought we'd get to this point eventually. The point @The Thriller did an excellent job describing. I think, were we living in the 1850's, Donald Trump would make a fine candidate for the Nativist Party, the Know Nothing Party. I hoped we'd never see an anti-immigrant movement like that again. But, Mr. Trump has decided to appeal to our baser instincts. That's why he should not be our President. We don't deserve to see hatred of others elevated to this extent. And I don't think I have to be partisan to recognize that is what happened. I think I only have to know right from wrong.

@babe, you label me partisan when I simply recognize the American president is a man of remarkably low character. Cruelty seems to turn him on. While simple kindness is seen as a great weakness to him. It's really that simple. From day one, it has been a character issue to me. The President represents all of us. And it's as if he has decided Caligula is his role model. No thanks. This simply won't do. I simply reject a leader who believes cruelty represents strength. It doesn't. It represents insecurity and bigotry. And cowardice. I do believe bullies are cowards at heart. And this President enjoys the role of Chief Bully. No thanks.

Partisan? I don't think so. I only need recognize right from wrong. Strength of character from a cowardly bully. I don't have to be partisan at all to be saddened that a man of such low character was elected president of my country. Simply put, the man is disgusting. He's every bit the demagogue I said he was the day he announced he was running. Maybe I'm just too holier then thou in judging him, but I think his words and actions speak very clearly for themselves. I don't believe this is the face America should present to the world. Nothing he has said or done has altered that belief on my part. Now he wants to use children as leverage for his wall. Shame on him.

For every Soros there are two Koch brothers. The old money wants to keep it, and they support all the politicians you like for that reason.

Comparing Soros to the Kochs is like comparing Bryan Russell to Lebron James.

Soros has an organization which works as a lobbying firm.

The Kochs meanwhile have dozens of think tanks, lobbying firms, super PACS, and media outlets. They’ve been working since the 1980s to buy up business schools (it began at George Mason and UVA). It has since spread to both the university of Utah and Utah state (their entire business dept is Koch bought and paid for. Just a year or two ago a professor there wrote a piece against climate change).

While Soros is a contributor to the DNC and influences democratic ideals. Ideals that would benefit the 99 percent.

the Kochs have bought out the entire GOP, changed its platform, and desire to shred the civil rights movement and progressive reforms of the 20th century. A return to the Gilded Age would benefit only the Kochs, Trumps, Adelsons, and Mercers.

Which bring up another issue altogether. Right wingers make it sound like the Kochs and Soroses are two sides of the same coin. No. The right is far more wealthy, far more effective, and far more radical than the left. The right has most major banking, finance, oil, and large corporations on their side. The Adelsons, Kochs, Trumps, Mercers, all have wealth that is used to combat progressive reforms. The oligarchs benefit by deregulation, ignoring climate change, and keeping wages down. They’ve teamed up with media like Fox News, Breitbart, NRAtv, and Sinclair.

There’s no equivalent to that on the left. The Kochs spent $1 billion in 2016 on candidates and propaganda. That dwarfs anyone on the left. You have Fox News, Breitbart, Russian bots, NRAtv, and Sinclair on the right. The left has no such equivalence. Hell, MSNBC, the “bastion” of liberalism features a former republican congressman as their morning host. Could you imagine Fox News or Breitbart with a former democrat as their morning host?

So let’s stop with the false equivalency here.
 
thanks for the inclusion of source materials. While the label "partisan" might over-simplify the case, it is still true that you have(Red, Thriller) pretty consistent and/or persistent if not dogged stands. I'm not that "settled".

It is true that, for me, NBC, CBS, ABC..... the whole "Walter Cronkite" set with "And that's the way it is" reporting from the sixties and seventies represented and establishment voice even then, so far as I cared to see it. For me, "The Establishment" was socialist, divisive, statist, manipulative. I thought I knew a little of Armand Hammer, and Jon Huntsman. I was in and outta the house, so to speak. I thought I knew a little of the Eccles family influences. My cousin was a US House of Representatives Dem, Ed Firmage was another cousins father in law. I had a long personal knowledge of another old line Utah dem. But I got a book from a Library outtadate sale called "The Right People" which went over all the national scale wealth and the influence they had. At one time, I was married to a lady who was in a position to know personally all the Utah dems and wannabe movers and shakers, who literally had the list of who's who in Utah. But I went bad. I thought people outta have their own guvmint.

So, probably, unless you are indeed a populist, it will be my take that you are partisan somehow, maybe on your own thinking for all I know. If you believe in Sesame Street or imagine that the UN represents democracy I will see things different, no matter what your sources or connections.

I think the Kock bros might've been supportive of Ross Perot back in 1991, and while ostensibly "conservative" their interests fall outta line with Trump or Constitutional thinkers within the Reps as well as the blue dog dems/unionists/moderate dems of the Trucker/working class sort who elected Trump. It took the nightmare of another Clinton Presidency to create that little wave Trump rode.

Do you realize how Republican the Clintons are? You can't really get the light of day between a Clinton and a Bush. Bill Clinton (and Hillary) are total David Rockefeller bots. They totally betrayed the Dem party, took it away from ordinary Americans. Globalists to the hilt, yes, but of the David Rockefeller kind of Globalism first laid out by Lord Cecil Rhodes. Unspeakably racists, bro. The UN is an elaborate organization with all kinds of pretenses of a better world, inclusive of all kinds of governments around the world which are statist in one way or another. But it is really a divide and conquer network for pitting people one against another so no one can insert any contrary power into the scheme.

One the Agenda: one war after another between fundamentalist religions like Islam(under more or less the remnants of Ottoman Empire statists presenting today as extremists sympathetic to the locals) versus "The Wrong People" in power, whoever they might be at the moment.
