K but you’re going to say he is an elite player and he can’t ever make an all NBA team?Cap space in Free agency is of very little concern to me. The Jazz dont chase FAs often and will almost always get outbid or have a better market team make an offer. Any single player we get eliminates us from chasing FA. We dont have that much cap space and if we sign any PG including Rubio we wont have any cap space.
His age is concerning to me. His play is not. He has been very solid for a long time and a great 2 way player. He can pass, shoot, create, and is a great teammate. All-star game appearances is not a indicator for how good a player is to me.
I’m not saying players have to be that, but Conley isn’t an elite player.
There is more you can do with cap/flexibility than using it in free agency.
Conley would give us two really good years if we’re lucky, right as Mitchell’s deal is due, then the Jazz have nowhere to turn but luck in finding other stars.
