There was a report that Exum was a sticking point in the Conley negotiations.
What report? I haven't seen it... link?

Sincere question: what does Rubio bring to this team that is irreplaceable? His 33% from the three? His three free throw attempts? 6 assist? 12 points? His 2-1 assist to turnovers ratio?
Definitely could help him, but I would never make a trade just to make a trade. There has to be some sort of asset we need.Really the problem here is that DL didnt read enough of @LoPos trade ideas. Probably should keep making them until he takes notice of the great ideas.
We have a team that can make some noise this year. If healthy we are built for the playoffs. There is no reason to make a trade if its not a good deal, just to make a trade. The asking price of a lot of players was very high. Players got traded for way more than people were suggesting in here. It makes sense why we didnt make some moves.
Grabs popcornIf you didn’t get Porter because of Ingles, you’re nuts. Ingles is the most average player on the face of the earth.
I'd like to go on the record that I never wanted Mike Conley and his albatross contract on this team. I feel like I must be the only happy person on this board today (though getting something for Rubio would have been nice, at the same time reading his thoughts through the twitter made me want to keep him for personality alone).
That's replceable also. A guy who has a ridiculous 4 to 1 A/T ratio will be available in the summer.

It's on Tony Jones (the Athletic - covers Jazz) twitter. He said Jazz offered to match dollar for dollar in expirings and a first and second round pick. Memphis demanded Exum and Jazz declined. What report? I haven't seen it... link?
His contract expires this summer. And quite the opposite, I don't see WAS keeping him unless they move one of Wall/Beal. The guy is way too talented to stay as a backcourt reserve. How are we gonna get Satoransky? He’s got one year left at <4M. That’s a great deal. With Wall out for the year, I don’t see it happening. Unless they totally gut it and trade Beal too.
Uhh, what?
BINGONow, I am worried about us not being able to utilize the capspace, too... and I too think that failing to utilize it in the next 2 FAs will be a failure. But IMO a bigger failure would have been to waste that capspace on players that doesn't address our biggest needs and at the same time all but eliminate us from addressing them in the following 2 years.
