Using terminology you grew up using in the context you learned it is not cultural appropriation.
No. She 100% changed the way she sounds in order to pander to the audience. She was practically mocking them.

It seems clearly offensive and manipulative to me that she did so.
Offensive I understand. Who do you think she was trying to manipulate with her 1986 Texas Bar registration card?
Republicans sure do get worked up on the strangest things. They seem to care more about Warren’s ancestry than that the president calling Nazis “very fine people” or claiming he trusted Putin over our own intelligence communities with regards to Russia’s attack on us in 2016.
I guess it’s a reflection of how biased and intellectually lazy we’ve become?
Since you're just trolling, I'm not going to assume you are as stupid as you sound right now.
Everyone changes the way they sound based on to whom they are talking. People raise or lower their voices, change their dialects and accents (if they were raised around multiple dialects and accents), etc. Ocasio-Cortez spoke in a manner that many people around her spoke growing up, to the appropriate people.
The problem is Trump has never passed up an opportunity to not denounce them.Nah. Just not true. Dems get worked up over the stupidest ****. Such as fake Russian conspiracies and fake Nazi dog whistles.
Oh my gosh guys. Trump isn't bowing down to our demands that he denounce nazi's every second that we demand him to. Therefore he must support Nazi's.

The Russians conspired to influence our Presidential election. That's not in question even a little bit. So how many times do you get to call real **** fake and expect to be taken seriously?Nah. I also don't buy into 90% of what people call cultural appropriation. The only thing I can get behind as far as calling out cultural appropriation is when someone is using someone else's culture in a mocking or degrading way.How is that not cultural appropriation or different than cultural appropriation?
By the way, I dont see anything wrong with cultural appropriation. I see it as more of respect, liking, and honoring another culture. But of course its one more thing for the liberal white savior to cry about.

Culture doesn't really belong to anyone. Culture is not a static thing. Culture is something that occurs naturally in communities based on thousands of intermingled factors.
My biggest example is with food. The **** someone is gonna tell me I can't make all sorts of different cultural food and share it or even open up a restaurant and sell it. I want to smack people when they say stupid **** like "Oh, your grandma is from Mexico? I bet she makes really good salsa." Like wtf? Recipes aren't genetic. There's nothing about a grandma from Mexico that makes her especially well equipped to make great salsa. There's nothing stopping me from making great salsa, better salsa than she makes. I don't have to ask anyone's permission to make salsa.
Do you think there is a chance that Trump will do a worse job of keeping the Russians from interfering than Obama did? Also telling is that reports indicate the DHS, when communicating with Trump himself, stays away from the topic of Russian interference in the 2020 election. That one cannot raise the issue with Trump because it affects his ego. So, he is not exactly into cybersecurity and the 2020 election, despite taking an oath to protect and defend.

Hint: you ran out of chances to be taken seriously a LONG LONG time ago.
This is how most 'liberals' and 'leftists' I know feel about it as well. If you're not mocking the culture we won't care.
Who is we?
The guardians of cultures?
