Bleacher Report Mock Draft
shocking how overrated nick smith has been by so many mock drafters. if he were a better vertical athlete, maybe i could understand it, but he seems like a poor man's keyonte george. basically george who isn't as big, and whose skillset is a little worse in every way. between nick smith and keyonte george, it's george all day.

I feel like this draft isn't that amazing outside of the top 2. Maybe it's just 3-10 that feels week, but I'm also not super excited about the guys in our range either 10-16.

I'm not totally sold on NSJ. I'd want more physical presence in a guy who goes top half of the lottery. And I don't like the way he's ducking in and ducking out of playing. The league is only getting bigger, faster and stronger, and I'm not sure how much of what NSJ does will translate.

I think he's a good deal more twitchy than George. Smith looked really good to me coming off injury. If he had been healthy all season he would be putting up pretty big scoring numbers right now.

Smith just isn't my cup of tea... he's very Jalen Green-y to me. I think those guys are fine if they are like JC with us... but if they are a building block I struggle a bit. I'd have him over George though... if he falls outside the top 8-9 like some are projecting he might be a great steal.

I'm expecting Wallace to drop at this point. I think Black could go either way. He's an enigma.
I don't see Black as an enigma at all. If he can shoot he's effing awesome... full stop. I think Woo has him #3 which is a bit wild. If he falls to the late lotto I would draft the **** outta him and be sooooooo happy.

To me this is more of a really good role player draft. We always see a few guys breakout and become stars that you don't project but I feel like a lot of these guys have a high floor though because they project to do one or two things really well.

For me I think there's just been a lack of risers. There was a long list of guys who we thought "could" have risen to a top 3, top 5 type prospect....but I don't think that's happened. Injuries and weird situations like the twins have prevented some of that....but no one has really popped so far. I think Brandon Miller has played well and his shooting in undeniable, but I share the same sentiment as others that he feels more like a 6-8 prospect.

Wait til workouts happen. Some teams put a lot of stock in those workouts. That's why a guy like Shaedon Sharpe, who didn't play anywhere, can get consideration in the top 5.
