Just crazy to think of the audacity to downplay Miller's ceiling when he's a 6'8 elite shooter who can pass/dribble/shoot while playing defense and rebounding at an elite level while simultaneously hyping up a 6'9 scoring forward who cant do anything well besides score (and he doenst even do that well as of yet, truly in the gutter TS% in conference play)

One of the things that makes me cackle is looking at GG Jackson's profile page on tankathon... Look at all the red minuses... then you look at the plus side and its - draft age and fouls.... ya!

Yeah, and it's not like his tools are that elite. He's a very fluid strong forward, but he isnt crazy athletic or crazy long. He's got next to no natural playmaking feel. His defense is theoretical. He's like a (very) poor man's Carmello Anthony at this point.

And I am fine with taking a flier on a guy like that in the 20s... its a great risk/reward there. I think there are going to be some great late lotto and post lotto guys in this draft. I wouldn't take GG over Hendo, Hawkins, Sensabaugh, JHS, or Lewis... He's not even in the discussion for me with the Dick, Black, Jett type prospects.

I don't hate Miller. I still have him top 7. He's a really good college player. But he's not going to consistently beat NBA defenders off the bounce or score at the rim as much at the next level. If Miller were on South Carolina and playing against Alabama's defense, there's no way he would have had that kind of night scoring the ball. Bama has four guys on the floor who are all 6'8"+ and decently athletic. They had a 7-footer guarding the rim at all times. South Carolina sucks and doesn't have multiple defenders to throw at Miller. That was still a pretty lopsided contest.

Miller is an elite shooter with size. He's not really elite at anything else. His defense and rebounding aren't elite.
