AK watch

So should I start a thread that's just going to track what he does this season so we can discuss that? I could call it "AK Watch" or something.

Give the thread a chance -- there's still hope. No one has mentioned the "free pass" yet, which will be your sign that the thread integrity has been irreversibly breached.

Ad Hominem attack, another logical fallacy by the dimwitted and nitwitted AK haters

No, that's just a petty insult. An ad hominem attack is when you insult the speaker (not the object being spoken about), and also imply that the speaker is wrong because of the truth of that insult.

PLease. TheBlackSwordsman and One Brow have both posted in this thread. Any hope for integrity is gone.

*sigh*

Look, there's plenty of evidence to show that AK was underutilized under Sloan. A simple FGA/Gm tracking shows that.

There's also plenty of evidence to show that AK checked out by the end of his career in Utah. There are too many reports of him being the first out the door after a game or planning vacations to ignore, in addition to watching effort and body language in the last two seasons. He shouldn't be defended for that.

The only real debate that watching AK in Minnesota can even help solve is whether he actually was worth anything by the end of his contract if used more effectively. Admittedly, circumstances are different, but if he crashes and burns in Minnesota, think that would suggest that Utah stopped using him because it wasn't worth it. If vice versa, then there were other factors at play.

Personally, don't give a ****. He's a joy to watch play when he's playing well, and so far, he's doing so. And I suspect he'll be even better when Rubio gets back.

Kind of moody today? That's ok, I'll give you a "free pass".

You almost got your wish JazzSpazz.

I'm very disappointed right now.

Okay, we covered the whole crying, Sloan didn't use him right, Tattoo, free pass topics.

Can we just stomp out the flaming bag of poo on the porch and get on with the cleanup?

Didn't see this one, so can't comment much, but line was pretty mediocre: 6/6/4/3/1. Second half wasn't bad, but made nary a dent in the first.

On the other hand, he apparently made a pretty spectacular pass to Budinger for the game-winning last-second layup, so hey.
