I know it's thing, but it drives me nuts. I actually can't even envision him driving on the side of the screen, as I'm so used to see him dribbling away from it.
It's not even that he always goes away from the screen, but he always drives baseline.
The thing is, every modern defense is designed to force ball-handlers baseline. Corbin has adjusted by setting picks to go baseline, but it's so predictable that Alec wants to do it, it is something that will hold him back.
