What's new

Are there any Kanter apologists left? What are they saying?

Any player is gonna play hard when they leave a team they didn't wanna be on...talk to me when the season is over and we will see what Kanter's numbers are and how he looks on defense. I always wanted Kanter to work in Utah too, I'm not a hater, but we know what Kanter is at this point in his career. I don't expect him to drastically change in OKC

He is working hard to impress, his payday and reputation are at stake. He only played 21 minutes last night. McGary got more time. Adams will be back in a few games. It is a nice distraction when the Jazz are not playing.

It took too much time for the Jazz to realise that Kanter and Favors can not play together. Favors defense is quite good but not good enough to camouflage Kanter's defensive limitations. It was obvious that Gobert would have been the Jazz future center....Jazz have chosen Favors over Kanter. Next season will be indicative to judge if the Jazz made the right choice.
Not really. Kanter wasn't going to accept the backup job. And neither was Gobert. So the decision HAD to be made. Right now you can say the Jazz made the right choice for THEM and the team identity Quin wants to have, namely one built on defense. OKC with Westbrook and Durant want to outscore every team. And they usually do. But PHILLY took them to OT and scored 118 points! They were fine with renting a player to replace an injured one.

I think the real interesting part of this will be to see what kind of offers we hear about for Enes this off-season. If someone gives him $15M/poer or if he returns to OKC on the qualifying offer, then Utah DEFINITELY made a great choice.

Kanter played 21 minutes last night because they are playing tonight and were saving his legs for tonight. he will get his minutes tonight.

Yeah, its well known that 22 year men cannot play b-ball two nights in a row. Poor enes, gonna be tired.
typical Kanter hater. cant reason or debate because of the hate. whether he is tired or not ,its not his decision on minutes. Im just telling you why I think the coach played him less minutes.they have plenty of bigs and I think that's the reason why. tonight he has played 15 in the first half,so what you got..

So for those hating on Snyder for substituting out for Kanter on defense at the end of games...guess what? OKC did the SAME thing! And he wasn't brought back in on offense. Will he complain about not closing games?

I will give him kudos for the offensive board and score to make it 103-99.
