This will be my 8th cruise. I love them. I would rather stay a week in a tropical paradise but that also costs much more. For bang for your buck a cruise cant be beat. I have been to (i might forget a few) vancouver, victoria, ensenada (twice), cozumel, belize, grand cayman (twice), jamaica (twice), haiti, honduras, dominican republic, turks and caicos, and catalina island all on cruises. Great way to see a bunch of countries for pretty cheap and dont need to worry about food, hotel, or passports, or entertainment. Once you have paid for your flight and your cruise you are done! Everything is taken care of after that. So many options too. I have been on cruise ships with ice skating rinks and roller coasters. This one im going on next has a trampoline place (like those you see around town these days) and a ropes course and a bike thing that you drive around suspended up above the ship. Plus all cruises have a bunch of pools, water slides, comedy shows, dance shows, game shows, ice sculpting, silly things like hairy back contests, dance clubs, casinos, tons of bars and restaurants, stores, karaoke, movie screens on the pool deck at nights, spas, gyms, basketball courts, rock climbing walls, pool tables, ping pong, arcade, and a ton more. So much to do and the best thing is if you dont want to do anything but relax then you can do that. You can do as much or as little as you want. They have places you can leave the kids that are fun for them and you dont have to take care of them or worry about them if you dont want. Lots of good free food options. 24 hour pizza and ice cream for free. They have fancy dinners nightly with expensive dishes that are also free. I love those dinners. I try stuff I normally wouldn't and then if I dont like it they just bring me something else. And their chocolate lava cake desert is to die for.
Cruises are awesome and affordable.
The one I am going on next leaves from long beach and goes to cabo san lucas, puerto vallart, and mazatlan. I have never been to any of those places so I will be able to add them to my list of places I have been to.
I recommend leaving from miami though and going to places in the carribean. Costs more though. I love grand cayman, belize, and honduras. Those are probably my favorites. I dont like jamaica. The place I really want to go to is a private island owned by carnival called half moon cay (little san salvador island). Hope to go there next time. Had a cruise booked with that location in the itinerary but it was cancelled in may of 2020 due to covid.
I have done like 5 carnival cruises and 2 royal carribean cruises. This one im going on next is carnival again.
