Well, since what I said is that they need to exercise their voice and vote (not to mention I never said they should be silent at meeting, I only said they should stop threatening people), your response is based on a lie. Further, since I referred to using the power of the vote no less than 3 times in comment 6132, it's an egregious and malicious lie.Demanding the parents change human nature to keep paying their taxes and silently obey
Your disbelief in democracy (or republicanism, if you prefer) and a civil society is noted.Good luck with that.
My belief or disbelief in political constructs isn’t as important as understanding what drives people.Your disbelief in democracy (or republicanism, if you prefer) and a civil society is noted.
You’ve got the naked truth about this, eh? ****ing awesome, braugh.....understanding what drives people.
Basing your "understanding what drives people" on a false narrative (you've put forth about 5 or 6 in the last couple of pages) will get you faulty results. My belief or disbelief in political constructs isn’t as important as understanding what drives people.
Even if what you said was correct, the truth of the narrative believed by those angered is immaterial. It doesn’t matter at all. Those falsely believing an injustice is being done can spiral out of control every bit as quickly as those correctly believing an injustice has been done.Basing your "understanding what drives people" on a false narrative (you've put forth about 5 or 6 in the last couple of pages) will get you faulty results.
So, as long as it's only few, so that we only get a new story every few days or so, it's not a real issue? I'm just making sure that's your standard, for future reference. If parents threatening school board members at meetings were a real issue then we should be swimming in video of these threats being issued.
Evidence is my standard. It is your standard too. I know you well enough to know that you looked and couldn’t find any. There are a bevy of news stories and none of them could find examples either. This narrative of angry parents showing up to school board meetings and threatening board members is a myth. It is a story being made up by school boards trying anything to stem the torrent of anger they are receiving for refusing to conduct operations in a manner consistent with the will of parents. So, as long as it's only few, so that we only get a new story every few days or so, it's not a real issue? You think I couldn't find any actual stories of school board members being threatened by parents? Just how thick are you?I know you well enough to know that you looked and couldn’t find any.
You are not only wrong, you are dangerously wrong. You are spreading lies designed to support the continuation of violence. I wonder if you have any shame left at all. There are a bevy of news stories and none of them could find examples either. They may be verified incidents but none of them are angry parents threatening board members in school board meetings. These threats are supposedly so common as to require the involvement of the FBI and DOJ to curb it. Someone needs to explain why if this is the case that we have more video of Bigfoot than we do of parents threatening school board member in these school board meetings.Verified incidents just from the first page of search results.
