No he is not. He is not showing it in the games. Yesterday was perfect example. He had a head start with the ball infront of half court line. You think Westbrook, Wall or Shroeder would have let 3!!!! Lakers catch up to them and block that shot? No way, yet Exum being "one of the fastest" not only couldn't separate from them but could not even get the shot off.

Exum is a good man defender, but that's the extent of his impact. He can play very good D on 1 player. He isn't Gobert, a guy who impacts everyone defensively. He impacts one guy. That's his value. Against some teams, like the Rockets, who really rely on one person to do everything, it's super useful.

His offense impacts the team in the half-court, in a negative way. If Exum isnt pushing pace for early baskets, then he sucks the life out of the offense.

Good, let him shut down Fox tomorrow. Have him bring the ball up and get it into Burks hands(or Donovan's).

Fox had 13 AST the other night. Maybe Dante can pester him into mistakes.

Last time against the Kings, Exum tried to run past Bagley for a layup (his only move), and Bagley had no problem staying with him and forcing him into one of his signature hail mary's.
