I'm not a Keegan guy, and it also seems like the Kings did not want to trade him, but I think the Kings definitely had a package that meets or exceeds the Bridges benchmark.

If the Jazz play Sexton, Lauri, Collins, Kessler and Keyonte serious minutes, they're pretty easily a 30+ win team. In this year's tank race, that keeps them likely around 7th or 8th again. Hendricks should be solidly rotational too. He does a good job of staying in his lane.

No they weren't 3+ means more than 3 picks and more than 3 swaps. Not possible. Unless you want to add in 2nd rd picks which we obviously are not talking about.
They could add other stuff. Like players. Their pick based package isn’t as good as GS pick based package. They knew it so they moved on. GS is still very much holding out hope. They have at least that much on the table. Lauri is extremely valuable. He will command a big return.

I think it's possible that's exactly what happens next year. I think you have to ask yourself would you prefer really good odds at a top 5 pick and no Lauri or a really good odds at a top 7 pick and have Lauri. That's kind of what it comes down to for me.
I believe it was @silesian that said that the worst record is guaranteed a top-5 pick and that has stuck with me.

I want us to be despicable.

If we are actually a 7-10 team and not a 3-6 team, then there's no question. Have to trade Lauri. Lauri + tank isn't viable.
It MIGHT be if we get rid of Walker (without a comparable player coming back) and knee-cap the defense, but we gotta get going on getting rid of him, then.

We're going through our team worrying about Bazley and Eubanks ruining the tank. Have that same optimistic eye towards every team and suddenly no one can tank. Vets+depth is what wins games during the RS, that is the difference between this year and 22. 22 roster was littered with vets and depth, this roster is filled with inexperienced kids. Biggest case against the Jazz is Lauri and Sexton, both of which can be solved with divine intervention. That's all I'm saying.
Sure, but if Keyonte and/or Hendricks take a step we might kinda be back where we were at last year.

You can do that with every single team that's tanking. Give the same pessimism/optimism to the other teams and suddenly everyone is good and nobody is tanking. I can understand wanting to tank even more, but we should be fair about our current standing. This team could go a lot of ways, but it's definitely a different roster composition than 2022.

There are no comparable players. They can all shoot free throws and have basic post moves. Any big coming back in a Walker trade would help the offense more than they would hurt the defense.

Well ya, pretty much every team has a package that would exceed the bridges benchmark but if they aren't offering that package then it doesn't really matter.
