Not me. If I was a publisher, I'd be all over this book. Trump will whine, which will drum up publicity, which will sell books.

And if I was a liberal, I'd pray to my not quite real god every day that Trump did sue. Open that piece of **** up to discovery (which is why he never lets his lawsuits get that far. Dude is corrupt as **** and if it every leaks, he is done). He will blow his hot air and then move on.

The man is insane. I honestly, truly feel bad for those who voted for him. You have the pieces of **** who voted for him, who have screwed themselves over royally, because they live off the government handouts Trump is getting rid of, and you have the honestly, religious people, who very silly-ey believe that democrats are of the devil, who sold out all their morals to prevent a democrat from winning, thereby leaving behind everything they stand for in order to prevent a liberal from taking office.

Very ironic and must be internally devastating.

lawyering up on anything is the surest way to put it all away in deepfreeze rhetorical meaninglessness. Anyone who thinks our courts are efficient determiners of truth..... just doesn't know our courts.

Bannon may have gone a bit far, overplayed his hand. He may be worried about all the powers-behind-the-throne who are not on his political fav list, may have tried to discred some of them. I don't think he is capable of sustained political influence. He's got too much his own idea of things. politicians have to care about what others want.

It is literally irrelevant whatever Don Jr. said or tried to do. the meeting was a trap to begin with, and Jr. a fool. But he was surely a lightweight compared to standard international dealmakers of the CFR globalist crowd, and whatever he could have said, or wanted.... far less serious as "treason" than Obama or Hillary's standard daily grind.

I haven't been back to Breitbart for some weeks. I don't even care. Breitbart's only chance to be credible news is to tell the story our lying media won't tell.

Lots of "moral compasses" are in freespin mode I suppose. The easiest thing is the call everybody else liars or whatever. But since the 1960s I've known our media is dishonest, really really dishonest.... and our national community a sort of fraud pretending to be the ensign of liberty while we're the world's best UN backer. Balderdash. Anybody who doesn't buy my load where Trump is concerned is missing something, and has the same rights as me. That's pretty simple as well. It is your hero Trump who lies closest to fascism. And is it not amazing that you do not realize that? I find it amazing. I love the impossible division, it makes my head hurt. The man is so far beneath whatever dignity the office still conveys, we put an incurious dolt, and worse, in that office.

25th amendment if Mueller doesn't get him first. And I'm going easy on the guy.

You don't buy my load. OK, I don't expect you would. Do you honestly feel I regard you as a "worthless, less then human sort, with no rights that should be protected"? Say what, lol. I'm a bleeding heart, babe, remember? I think we are all spiritual beings on a human journey. Truly. I'm not trolling you when I say that. Regardless of what I think of your serious overestimation of the greatness of Donald Trump, and it's out there, we are all spiritual beings on a human journey. As far as I'm concerned, life really is the stuff of which dreams are made. I'm just trying to understand the plot while I'm alive.

you smoked too much peyote out on the Hopi mountain, bro. read too much psychological mumbo jumbo from the college books.

seriously, you don't notice people around you talking about "deniers" and whatnot, and you just went on a binge actually lumping flatearthers and all kinds of ignoramuses to the general class of folks who just don't believe the obvious truth you know.

pretty loose talk.

you're not really a "spiritualist", you're whatever you imagine in your own mind perhaps..... but there's no "spirits" and nothing "spiritualist" in reality as what you've been pleased to imagine.

I think the reason we have elections is to allow the people, generally, to have some kind of a check on our government. If enough people get concerned about something, and vote for some change.... the election should settle it until the next election.

Some people can't stand Trump won, and they're just being spoilers.... brats.... trying to interfere with what the people voted for. I don't respect them.

Funny coming from a person when asked how the voter fraud in Alabama could have possibly happened you just say "It happens all the time, everyone knows it. Soros always loads up busses full of black people and delivers them to voting booths, it's his thing, old news." And you've worked in several departments in several universities studying a varied assortment of things from political science to climate to physics and even marijuana. You've hob-knobbed with English royalty, had an in with LDS church leadership, associated with our local political elites. All while single-handedly working your own farm, keeping up on all the latest conspiracy theories, writing the longest thread in the world, and mastering philosophy. You've been everywhere, seen everything, done all there is to do. You must be about 200 years old and able to be in multiple places at once. I mean, I'm not accusing you of telling tall tales over and over, but, well, okay maybe I am.

so what's the update with the whole trying to find out if Trump committed a crime saga ??
Investigations take time. Mueller is a bad *** and has assembled an all-star team to look into this. Honestly, if at the end of it Mueller says "It doesn't seem like Trump colluded with Russia and I have no proof that he did." I will accept that and move past that issue. If he says "Trump may have colluded with Russia but I have no definitive evidence that he did." I will move past the issue, understanding that it will never be proven that Trump colluded with Russia. But if he says "Trump and his campaign engaged in a concerted effort with Russian intelligence assistance to undermine the U.S. presidential election process, and here's the evidence..." I will expect an impeachment, or I will expect unrest in the streets, and I will participate in the unrest.

Well, about the closest I've ever been to being drunk is stepping over a man passed out on the living room floor, in a puddle of ethanol/urine. Intoxicating fumes. Well, scratch that. In some tropical isles the natives can make effective liquor outta things you wouldn't imagine..... tuba from some marsh reeds, etc. etc. I made one batch of bakers' yeast/sugar brew and distilled it. What's that stuff you have to get out of it before it can be used??? filtered, I figure. And that 195 proof ethanol with what is that phenolphthalein in it to make your pee run red???

I'm sure as hell I know nothing about brewing good beer.

never hob knobbed with anyone. I'm the fly on the wall most places I learn things. I was raised on family legends, and had an aunt who put them in print, in between rescuing stray cats and trying to single-handedly finance an animal rescue house next to the vet.

creative writing is a high art form.

I get smarter when I listen to other people. That's all it takes.

three or four weeks following a good brewer and asking questions, and I'd be ready to brag about my ggramp who was indeed a fine winemaker, or my other ggramp who ran the pub across the street from Parliament. And listened to everybody......

So I'm thinking of doing China Buffet again. That place on 45th south and State, oh high noon one day soon. Anyone interested in having the chance to see the babester in real life, doing what he does best???

I just have to get over the flu.... influenza A and pneumonia I think to boot.... so it'll be a couple of weeks out. Meanwhile I have nothing much I can do but tell my tales.

@franklin

well, we do have to pay taxes on inflationary gains.......

True, but congress has done a lot to negate those taxes for the middle and lower classes. There are also easy ways to play the inflation game and come out a winner. The upper classes pay a whole lot more because they have the means to gain from the system much more. I.E. I don't pay a dime in capital gains taxes or on US corporation dividends. It's pretty cool.

I like Dave Ramsey. Something about the paid-for life. I think it works better for us all, keeps our heads straight about stuff.

His fiscal responsibility take is fine but it's obvious to anyone with half a brain cell. His hard line stance on debt issues and may others are outright stupidity, and very irresponsible to teach people en masse using his own reputation as an appeal to authority. Fiscal responsibility is not a blanket approach designed as one size fits every single person. Any counsel should be on a case-by-case basis, if you are responsibly giving advice.

yah. Most people don't see that. I mean if you're doing regular average jobs and trying to get ahead, I can see not eating out, or vacations until you've got some breathing room. Most wives don't get that though.

obviously, some loans are actually the wise course. If you need a car to get the job, take the loan whatever the terms.... In some markets, homes are also essential loans.... well, look at least in growth areas they are.

I know he got canned, but he's also been working to get pro-Trump candidates into GOP primaries. The Moore debacle did not help his already less then stellar reputation. But this latest surprises me nonetheless. I don't know, maybe he's rewriting narratives to cover his own butt....

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jan/03/donald-trump-russia-steve-bannon-michael-wolff

"Donald Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon has described the Trump Tower meeting between the president’s son and a group of Russians during the 2016 election campaign as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”, according to an explosive new book seen by the Guardian.

Bannon, speaking to author Michael Wolff, warned that the investigation into alleged collusion with the Kremlin will focus on money laundering and predicted: “They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV.”

Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, reportedly based on more than 200 interviews with the president, his inner circle and players in and around the administration, is one of the most eagerly awaitedpolitical books of the year. In it, Wolff lifts the lid on a White House lurching from crisis to crisis amid internecine warfare, with even some of Trump’s closest allies expressing contempt for him

Bannon, who was chief executive of the Trump campaign in its final three months, then White House chief strategist for seven months before returning to the rightwing Breitbart News, is a central figure in the nasty, cutthroat drama, quoted extensively, often in salty language......

......The meeting was revealed by the New York Times in July last year, prompting Trump Jr to say no consequential material was produced. Soon after, Wolff writes, Bannon remarked mockingly: “The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.

“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad ****, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

LOL this aged well even fake news cnn admits this book is full of lies!

"if it rings true it is true".
