Sounds about right.it's the election of populism. People are full-blown going against the establishments on both sides. And rightfully so-- citizens across our continent have every reason to be sick and tired for establishment politicians who protect their own interests and don't really give a **** about the working/middle class constituents that they're supposed to represent. Trump panders to this population by promising jobs, and safety, and strength against international forces. Bernie promises a better welfare net, better schools, better infrastructure, better health care, and less hawkish foreign policy.
People are tired of "politicians", and want people who share an equal distaste for politicians like they do. That's why Bernie went from fringe-candidate to now a politician (who as of today) is leading Hillary on national voting polls. THat's why Trump is destroying his robotic competitors. They don't stand a chance against him-- it's over, quite frankly. Trump's momentum won't be stopped.
Now the question becomes who we want to run against Trump (unless you're for Trump yourself). If it's Hillary vs Trump, she's going to lose== specifically because of the environment of this election. Establishment politicians simply aren't trusted as much anymore.
I will be so pissed if trump wins.
One thing trump does is gets people to the polls.
I have never voted before, but I will this time around simply to cast my vote for whoever trumps opponent is
