Only considering players that have played when the games have mattered. Cut off point is basically oni and butler. Not going to include hughes, forest etc. Will use per 36 stats just for fun (other than a few stats such as minutes per game)

Donovan and Gobert are #1 and #2 in minutes played on the team and the only two averaging over 30 minutes per game on the team. (31.0 and 30.8) Nice to see.

Jordan Clarkson is the leading scorer at 25 points per game (per 36 of course as most stats will be). Then Mitchell (23.2), Bogey (21.4), Gobert (21.2), Whiteside (18.5), Ingles (17.4), and Conley (15.6)

Gobert (20.8) and Whiteside (15.8) are the only guys rebounding worth a crap. 3rd is paschall at 6.8 and suprisingly Butler is 4th at 6.7. Where you at Royce?

Donovan is #1 in assists (awesome) at 5.8 and Butler is second at 5.3 and conley 3rd at 5.2.

3 point percentage (probably my favorite stat) Ingles is leading the way at 50%. Paschall is at 44%. And conley is 39%. Everyone else is crap in this statistic. (donovan and bogey both at 32%, Royce at 29% Clarkson at 26%, and Butler at 14%) This is where we can and will improve the most. This is also probably the only place that we miss Niang.

Field goal percentage Gobert leads the way of course at 71%. Whiteside is at 68%, Jingles is at 54%, Bojan and Paschall are at 46%, Conley 43%, Clarkson 41%, Donovan 39%, Royce 38%, Butler is 11%

Field goal attempts per game it goes Clarkson (22.4), donovan (21.5), bojan (16.8) and everyone else is way below that. Gobert is 8th in attempts. Though all the times he is fouled while shooting skew this number.

Free throw percentage Whiteside, Clarkson, and Ingles have yet to miss a free throw all 100% though all are a very small sample size. Bogey is at 92%, Mitchell at 91%, Conley at 83%, Gobert at 70%! (on 10 attempts per game or 11.7 per 36 per game!!!), Pashcall 60%, Butler 50%

Bulter is number one in turnovers with Mitchell 2nd and Gobert 3rd. No one else is even close in this category.

Fouls per game per 36 whiteside is at 8.2 and Butler 8.0 lol. No one else is close.

Dont really care to do steals and blocks.

From these stats the most obvious way to improve is in shooting in general and especially 3 point shooting. Butler has been total crap (expected but still) Gobert has been fantastic (expected but still). Donovan is struggling overall but is getting pretty good assist numbers.
Clarkson really needs to start hitting from deep. Royce has been crap. If you only take wide open shots and layups then you need to be better 38% from the field and 29% from 3. Especially since he has not attempted a single free throw yet.

I would say that statistically Gobert, ingles, Paschall and Whiteside have been the best, most steady players. Whiteside fouls too much but that might not be a bad thing.

Just realized that I didn't include Oni but thats ok cause he has only played 5 minutes and has literally zero statistics other than 1 foul. everything else is nothing but zeros.

I'm actually really excited about Butler. He plays under control, he doesn't panic, he does other things that help us, not just one (like Niang) or none (like Oni). Seems poised and mature and professional. I think he'll just get better. Could be the running mate we needed by Mitchell long-term.

Clarkson is averaging 14 3PA per 36. That’s a higher rate than Curry has every shot, so I assume that kind of a rate over a season would be a record. Would like a little more than 26% of them to fall. Would like to see him use more time when he’s open, too. He’s been throwing up some off balance ones when he’s open.

Great thread fish. You should keep this alive during the season.

I think he'll get in rhythm and expect him to hit maybe 36%, 38% on the high end. Could be an incredible season for 3 pointers. Our main guys are still not in rhythm, yet we are still on place to just about match last year's record-setting pace. Could be very fun season for 3s.

We’ve had a cupcake schedule, but I find it fascinating that we’re the number one offense in the league (ctg) despite not playing particularly well. Mitchell, Conley, Bogey, and Clarkson are all playing below their standards and some how that still computes to the best offense.

It’s come from decent turnovers and great rebounding. I’ll be watching to see if this becomes a trend.

Middle shift lineups so far:

Conley/Clarkson/Ingles/Paschall/Gobert :+17 in 33 minutes

Butler instead of Conley: -3 in 19 minutes

Forrest instead of Ingles: -1 in 5 minutes

Oni instead of Ingles: -12 in 4 minutes

Forrest instead of Conley: -5 in 3 minutes

We're having a tough time when Conley/Ingles have been out in the second unit. This was an area where we held firm last year.

Donovan and Clarkson's shooting so far is almost identical, both at about 37.5% from the field and 28% from 3. We really need both guy's to start being way more efficient offensively. Also Clarkson is taking 16 shots in 25 minutes, that's just too many.
