Deron was the reason Utah has been in rebuild mode the last 3 years. If he would have committed to the Jazz, they and he would both been more successful. I boo him for that.

Yes, and that is why we cheered for Kirilenko last night. Deron didn't sulk and cry and underperform for a half-decade like Andrei.

Gobert is tall... what else does he do out there? He can't catch or even hold the ball. He never knows where to be on either end of the court. He did manage to make one layup last night, but that was soon after he somehow airballed his previous try within one foot of the basket. He can't reliably finish or defend. He does try hard, I guess.

I don't get it. What is Fesenko doing now? Can we get him back?

Your vision is stuck in today's sight. What did you expect from a guy that has been **** all over by his coach by sending to DL in a team full of mostly not so greater players compared to his level? He is a damn rookie and I saw what I needed from him earlier this season. If I were the Jazz FO man (since the HC won't do jack**** about it) I would give this guy to a physician and bulk him up, make him work with a bigman coach that is also big. Not like Ty who falls down when Kanter hits him. I think there is a gem in there. And it's worth working on.

Jason Kidd is an awful coach. There offensive sets were mostly one-on-one moves. They have some offensive fire power if their players were used right.

And yet the jazz lost. I have never been on the fire Ty bandwagon, I even like the guy. But the second half of last nights game made it clear what has to happen.

^ If Ty can send Gobert to DL, he should hell of a hell off sent his Kanterness to there as well when it looked logical. He could at least gain a few game time instead of posing around out of the ego of being an NBA player and his broken ego would be broken two years earlier in his career since not so much community aspect would give a flying **** about a DL player.

Ty is GREAT for the tank. That decision not to foul, then foul and give them 6 seconds more on the shot clock was BRILLIANT. I mean, that HAS to prove Ty is in on the tank. I didn't even see that level of genius from Mark Jackson.

Why not just create an iPad app that says whether to foul or not and who to foul, depending on the time remaining and who is in the game? It could track the score and time remaining and literally just display "DON'T FOUL" or "FOUL 0, Blatche" on it depending on the situation. Give the dammed thing to the trainer and he can just tell Corbin what to do. None of this changes from game to game. The scenarios are almost always the same. Just let the dammed app take care of it. This is not meant to pick on Corbin (although he deserved it last night). Just let an automated process take care of it and let Corbin take care of the rest of the "coaching".

Hell, we could probably code up a web app to do the same thing based on updated box score data available online. Then we can watch the app during the game and yell at the TV when Corbin should foul, or not.

Seriously, did anyone ask him after the game what his rationale was for this move? I would really love to hear it.

Jazz down 4 with only 26 seconds (iirc) remaining.... should be obvious foul situation. harpring is like, "looks like the jazz are gonna just play good defense this possession instead of fouling". He should have been saying, "the jazz need to foul quickly in this situation".

OK, so with the opposing team up 4 points and 30+ seconds left our HC thought The Nets were going to try to go 2-for-1?

Please god let Coach Ty be in on the tank - otherwise I'd have a hard time getting my mind around the fact that I root for a team that is run by a person who would actually say something like this with a straight face.

At this point, Boler and Harpring treat Corbin like he just finished 3rd in a Special Olympics event.

I live in NJ so the Utah feed was blacked out. Ian Eagle and Mike Fratello do The Net games. Let's just say they had a different take on the situation. Eagle's tone specifically had a distinict "WTF just happened" ring to it.

Found the play by play on the utah jazz app.

32 seconds left alec burks get a dunk (great pass from trey and great cut without the ball by burks) to get the jazz within 4.

The jazz foul with 16 seconds left but that doesnt even get them in the penalty. So NJ inbounds and we foul blatche with 14 seconds left. Lol

It wouldn't have mattered if the Jazz had just played it straight up, forced a miss, and gotten the ball back with 10 seconds remaining. The only thing the Jazz HAD to do in that situation was NOT let the Nets run the clock down to 14 seconds and THEN foul... which is somehow exactly what they did.

iPad app would've been all over this one, i tell ya.
