What's new

George #B Hill

I'd call him a bulldog before I called him a stopgap. Hill is a legit player who we are damn lucky to have acquired.

I like you Dal, but your takes on PGs have been off for a while now. Need to step up your game.

I stand by my take. And my love for Black Jesus. Hill ain't a bulldog & I'll never understand NAOS's boner for that term

Anyway, regardless of what anyone wants to call Hill, he is a damn good player, and most certainly NOT a stop-gap. Utah will want to re-sign him, no matter how Exum plays this season.

Oh, and Trey Burke always sucked and almost certainly always will. Should have a nice career in China within a few years though.

Mods,
Can you please change the title of this thread to "George #B Hill"? tia.

'Bulldogs lock down the perimeter'? So I guess we already had one in Dante.

Hill is a stop-gap option to carry a team through a season while the franchise assesses the long term potential of Dante. His choice hinges on his seamless fit in our offence & being a plus defender. We got him because there isn't a team in the NBA with worse PG play. We needed a PG that didn't dominate an offence.

If it gets you wet to call him a bulldog, go ahead. You'll probably be alone on this one.

BUMP.

LOLs for days.

Has anyone gotten around to calculating what %age of NAOS posts are attempts to harass other posters?

I truly feel awful for any human who has to spend any extended time socializing with you. No surprise Peeks walked right past your boring ***.

Hill is a "stop gap". I think even the homeless population of SLC would laugh at that one.

they'd also laugh at anyone who didn't think there was a strong likelihood of Hill leaving this team in unrestricted free agency at the end of the season. That is, unless you're an armchair-psychoanalyst like NAOS who attests he knows the inner workings of players and the likelihoods they have of taking paycuts to stay with a certain team.

Hill stays with this team and becomes our long-term PG if he continues to sustain this level of play and Dante continues give the FA no confidence that he's a long-term solution at the PG spot (which doesn't stray from what I said months ago)-- pending that we can afford to solidify a two-way option at PF as well. And you're kidding yourself if Hill will take a pay-cut to stay with the Jazz when teams like the Spurs are seeking his services.
