Gobert to Minnesota

The whole team about to find out how difficult everything is without the perennial DPOY candidate who also lead the league in rebounding and screen assists, as well as was in the top 5 in ORTG for each of the last 5 years and one of the top for on-off stats in the league each year. Gonna be damn hard.
I'll be rooting for the Jazz, but I have to admit It will bring a smile to my lips the first time Rudy swats Don.

Or you can easily deal him for 2nd rounders. No reason at all to buyout.
Do you know who you ****ing wit... Danny gonna get two firsts ya bish... he turned Royce into a first and a TPE... he's Rumpel****ingstinskin

Pairing KD with Rudy was a strong win-now thought. But getting KD now would be a monumental waste of everything we have been doing. We need to either move Mitchell for more assets and let the rebuild begin, or truly try to build around Mitchell, but to get KD for, what, 3 or 4 partial years with his injury history? And by giving up all the assets we would need to build around him as well. Dumb to go after KD now unless you can somehow do so and hold onto Mitchell as well
Considering what we just got for Rudy, if we move Don can you imagine the return.
What did we get for Rudy? A number of picks that have about a 50% chance of being rotational players along with a bunch of other rotational guys? I was excited to get picks but a bunch of mid range 1sts does nothing for me, nor do the players we picked up. Not sure what the euphoria is in giving up a legit all star and potential HOF guy for a whole bunch of unknowns.

How many guys in the range we will likely get for Royce have the chance of being a starter? Not many. Not sure what the rah rah is. I have no problem moving Royce but acting like we got a great return is lost on me.

We got a mystery box and a bunch of functional players. Now we did get a really valuable mystery box and its the same exact type of mystery box Ainge has used to build a contender.

In addition to that we opened up cap space next year to pivot if need be. I love Rudy but that contract had some potential to be really bad later on... its just the circle of life... okay to be sad... but also know Rudy didn't die in vain.
