What's new

Griffin PIGS get slaughtered in LA tonight

First time Clippers have swept the Jazz since the 70's. Al's Jazz are setting records boys and girls.

it was al that lost us this game? not the team as a whole??

Millsap wasn't even effective after the 1st quarter

3 of the other starters didnt make a FG.

Al 'the scapegoat' Jefferson

As good as Millsap played tonight, he needs to go. AlJefferson is our best scorer even tho he gets alot of hate. Favors is great of Defense and will be needed for playoffs. Kanter is a dominant center. We need to find a better pg. Gordon Hayward is very impressive, he is starting to be more consistent.

When your vets are the big obstacle to winning road games, that says something..... Hmmmm...

Everybody in this league knows you can't close out road games without experienced vets. If you want an answer to our road woes, look no further than how young this team is and how much playing time Ty gives to the young four inexperienced guys, because despite winning he's also committed to development.

Marvin Williams, like Tinsley, has a -25 +/- in just 14 mintues.

I'm not a total fan of the +/- stat, but it's pretty clear that Tinsley + Foye + Marvin were poison tonight.
It's the ****ty starting 5 doing work again.

First subs, Gordo, Earl and Derrick came in for Al, Jamaal and Marvin at 3:43 of the first, with the Clips leading 19-10 (Paul Millsap hit a free throw to complete a 3 point play after they checked in).

Jazz down only 2, 51-49, to start the 3rd. Gordo and Alec check in for Jamaal and Marvin at the 6:01 mark of the 3rd (Favors had already checked in for Millsap), with the Clips up 72-53.

Jazz outscored 40-15 in 14:16 of Jamal+Marvin. Amazing.

would anyone honestly have a problem with taking both watson and tinsley completely out of the rotation?

No, and we would also be fine starting the lineup that was on the floor to end the game. I took one positive from this game, and it is huge. Corbin is still playing Burks..quite a bit. Too bad Hayward was just a bit off tonight, played well, but looked fatigued on drives and his shots were short. Once again, Lamar has his best game against the Jazz. Kanter flat out needs more minutes, and Carroll deserves to play. He possesses the ability to make people angry to the point it affects their game negatively. Marvin is too nice a person to play NBA ball, needs to work at the homeless shelter or something.
