Is there any possibility someone like the Thunder swoop in and say "Hey, we will do that package for SGA instead, but make it slighlty cheaper than Don"
No. Makes no sense for neither OKC nor NY.

3 weeks ago my friend working for a basket organization in France told me Don will ened at Knicks. Let's see but it seems that he was right. What concern me is that he say that Fournier will be moved.... not sure it's a good acquisition for the Jazz...he is not bad but not good enough for a good team and not bad enough for a tank team....
This… grimes is a nice player/prospect… they can pick Quickley or Grimes to keep and we move forward if that is indeed the package. The picks were the main motivation. Any of the players that end up being good are a bonus. Summer league production can be a good indicator of a guy taking a step forward but there have been plenty of second and third year guys that look great in summer league and still suck.I'm fine with taking out Quickley or McBride if that gets it done. I'm cool with 6 picks + Obi/Grimes
Maybe not that one this summer but certainly I think Beal and Lillard will do the PG mutually agree to move on thing at some point in the next 12 months. Them re-signing was always about the dollars not the loyalty… now they can get dollars and go where they want.Is there any possibility someone like the Thunder swoop in and say "Hey, we will do that package for SGA instead, but make it slighlty cheaper than Don"
I think you can have like 20 prior to cut date. It’s not an issue… they can always waive a few guys if need be.How many players can the Jazz take even back?
After the Gobert trade, they have 13 guys under contract.
Conley, Beverley, JB
Mitchell, Clarkson, Beasley, NAW
Bogdanovic, Bolmaro
Vanderbilt, Gay
Kessler, Azibuke
If they trade Mitchell for Toppin, Grimes, Quickley and Fournier they’ll have 16 players under guaranteed contracts. Can they even take back more at this point and then make moves around the margins, or do they have to cap it at 15 until training camp?

All of them.”This… grimes is a nice player/prospect… they can pick Quickley or Grimes to keep and we move forward if that is indeed the package. The picks were the main motivation. Jonathan Isaac.Could Orlando be a dark horse team for Mitchell?
They have all of their picks plus Chicago’s 2023 1st and Denver’s 2025 1st.
A deal around Jalen Suggs + salary filler + picks wouldn’t be bad at all.
