I think autocorrect got ya… you meant “THT would be Luka’s hemorrhoids in that lineup” right?THT in that lineup becomes Luka on steroids
Ochai is the problem here. Also, if you can't see that the problem is with the fit and not the player ability you're an idiot.
I agree with you regarding both Hendricks and George. But that doesn’t mean it’s still isn’t just a silly opinion, and probably entirely unfair to Hendricks.I’ve been beating the drum that we don’t really understand “potential” during this draft cycle. I get what people see with Hendricks. He has a really nice looking shot and regularly shows incredibly fears of athleticism on defense and transition. It’s not just the highlight plays. Even in normal defensive rotation you can tell he’s just a level up from everyone else.
Having said that….it is kind of hard to imagine him being a star when watching him. It’s a stark contrast to Keyonte and Brice. Those guys are the centerpiece of their team’s offensive game plan. Hendricks will go long stretches a time where he’s mostly standing around and never touches the ball.
There’s still a chance he can develop the on ball stuff. Mikal Bridges wasn’t much of anything in terms of being a creator and it seems as though he’s turning the corner after several years of progress…but when a guy is barely touching the ball at UCF it does make it much harder to imagine him becoming that guy.
We shouldn’t assume that is the lineup. We also should t assume this thing is built. Also one lineup does not a team make. We need some on ball creators/passers but building without that guy is not something I think is a bad thing. Allows each guy to grow a little and guys we tremendous offball value are sometimes as valuable or hard to find as guys with good on all value.Don't get me wrong, that lineup is really freaking good with Luka....but are we really going to say that having 4 non-ball handlers isn't a bad thing?
Good lord you are weird. How is having a really good spot up shooter and cutter a problem? Defensively that lineup would be great and offensively you have floor spacers, lob threats, cutters, screener bigs and a guy in Lauri that is a matchup nightmare for anyone. Add in Sexton or THT who can attack off the dribble and break the paint and you have a really strong lineup.Ochai is the problem here. Also, if you can't see that the problem is with the fit and not the player ability you're an idiot.
Also the smart ones know Ochai is mid… you bet your *** DA and Hardy know it too… fine placeholder until something better comes along.

This… I think you want to separate Key and Sexton for now. KO can do some point forward stuff for now… Sexton brings some onball juice and gets his chance to start. Ain’t worried about demoting him later… dude is coachable AF.I felt like our passing was pretty good last year. KO likely is a starter if he comes back and he’s a great passer.
Our starting lineup is likely going to be:
Sexton
Ochai
Lauri
KO
Kessler
With Hendricks, Keyonte and THT as our main guys off the bench. I could also see us signing or trading for someone significant that could change this.
