According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst and The New York Times' Marc Stein, Conley has indicated he does not want to get traded to the Jazz.
It's not the difference maker, but I do think the agent said something to the reporters. Conley refuted it, but either he is fine with Utah and his agent is an idiot or he didn't want Utah and repaired that image later.
Either way, two respected reporters aren't going to quote a player and his staff out of thin air. It was way too specific to just be made up. The fact that Conley got in front of a camera pretty soon after to address it makes me think he had to. Most bogus rumors are just shrugged off. Conley was advised to get in front of it.
It really doesn't matter either way. If he gets traded here, he will play here. I'm not worried about it.
