The 2-year deal part is a little misleading. It’s for the rest of the season and plus a non-guaranteed team option for 2023-24 (next season). Would have liked to get another year added on but it’s all good.

Yes. Cap hold next year wouldn’t be but that doesn’t matter because we will have tons of cap space.
Great. No excuses to not use the last roster spot. We should put one more player in contract jail.
At least try someone out on a 10-day.

LOL... its dumb to look back but I remember the Mudiay deal... where he literally asked to come here... and we didn't get a team option. House was the other one... we blew up the whole team so who cares but imagine if we had kept it together... you'd want a budget wing or two (this was under JZ/Ainge).
It is nice when the front office does the obvious right thing. I don't ask much.
