Jazz trade for Niang

This is a first in my Jazz fandom. It's the first time we've ever traded someone I've never heard of.
 
Tony Jones already reported that the Jazz plan to keep Niang.

So we already know Love's days are numbered but it made me wonder if Anderson just got replaced as the vet locker room guy.
 
I can't wait to watch the worst feet in defense. Anderson, Niang, Lauri, Keyonte, and Flip. I want to see us get outscored by 30 in 5 minutes.

That is about 50 million is expiring contracts. That would be great to convert some of these into assets. Maybe bring in a player like Grimes, kuminga, or Giddey.

The nice thing is, nobody cares if any of those guys barely play this year. I don’t see any of them contributing to winning basketball in the near term. The fact that they can all ride pine and then expire and open up $50 million for a single high-end player (via trade or free agency) is interesting.
