So people who don't take the vaccine appear more likely to engage in risk-taking behavior, which tends to cause more traffic accidents. And more risk-averse people are likely to take the vaccine and likely to not engage in risky behaviors so they have fewer accidents. In other news, water is found to generally be wet.
I haven’t been following this thread very closely but I did click on the link and read the study. When I finished it I had this reaction:

I've read that 15-20% of the people surviving covid19 get long covid (frankly, that seems high). Still, even if it's as low as 5%, that's a debilitating illness being prevented by vaccination. Measles is, to my understanding, more virulent, less deadly, and has fewer side effects.
These are all valid considerations, answerable only by data regarding outcomes, stratified across ages levels and other considerations. AFAIK, the WHO and CDC have these numbers. If you have them, I'd be very interested in reading them.
