Kirelenko in Trade talks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far Tony Parks wins with the justification:

"Diaw plays well with a great point guard."

I am searching all NBA rosters for a player that plays better with a crappy point guard.

On a separate note, at least Boozer will be happy -
"I want Joakim Noah to stay," Boozer said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I don't want to see him in any uniform but a Bulls uniform."

i.e. - "Who the **** will play defense up front if Noah leaves?," Boozer said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I know I sure as hell won't."

BY the way everyone. Denver cannot ship out only 17 Million and bring back 21-22 Million. They need to trade someone else to make this work. The deal has not been fully reported yet.

But if Melo moving is inevitable anyway why engage in an AK giveaway?

Who knows if it's a giveaway though? I'm sure the Jazz have found AK's market value and Diaw was probably the best they could get. Do I like the move? No, unless we got a first round from Charlotte. But I still don't think AK is a contender difference maker. Yeah, he'll help you win games, but not a championship. Especially in the down-spin of his career.

So how is it deemed fair by all parties that the Nets get Melo AND Augustin (sp?) while we lose one of our best talents, our massive expiring, our best overall defender, our second-best playmaker, and our most versatile player for Boris 15%-body-fat Diaw and Quinton I'm-lucky-to-get-guaranteed-contracts-at-this-stage Ross when we already probably have TOO much depth?

At least get Augustin or a pick, Jazz, or you're officially back to being retarded again. Even though, already, this dump could've been performed much earlier for much, much bigger savings and this is literally the worst package I've ever heard of for AK.

I am not sure why we need to pull the trigger before the season though. You would think there would be other opportunities later on to get rid of some salary. This would not make the average Jazz fan very happy.

Don't love the trade, but it makes sense. Not sure if people remember, but minus a 15-20 game stretch last year, AK has been abismal that past few years. It's been at least 3-4 years since you could call him a "lockdown" defender, and I'm sure everyone else on here would collectively cringe when he'd jack up a jumpshot (not just a 3, but any jumpshot). I don't love Diaw, but it will be nice to have another player big that can shoot. Just hope he no longer looks like the Pillsbury Diawboy as he did during the World Championships.

You can't look at what other teams get. That is not how 4 team trades work.

"You can't say this team got more talent than we did"

Its only about what you give and what you get. If your mad about that than that is fine but Diaw is still a good player. But he won't get playing time on this team to even deserve half of his contract. I understand the luxury tax savings to dump AK but we might as well dump AK for an expiring or a less expensive player.
