Why in the world would anyone use crisco when there's this wonderful better tasting more healthy option called butter?
Because it makes better cookies. Butter in and by itself clearly tastes better but Crisco makes the better chocolate chip cookies.

The administration claims it's a security issue. They claim framing it as a war against Islam helps ISIS recruit. It's also likely they see it as a domestic security issue as well, since they believe the more emphasis on Islam itself will lead to more things like vandalism against mosques, and attacks on Muslim Americans. That said, the forces aligned against us represent a group that views itself as the only true representative of Islam. Personally, I think as long as our own forces know who the enemy is, I'm not sure what's in a name is as all encompassing important as some see it. Even saying we are fighting a war against IS or ISIS would work for me. I know where they are concentrated, in several countries actually besides Iraq and Syria. That does not mean I am convinced we are fighting the war effectively, but, at the same time, ISIS has lost a lot of the territory they had at their greatest extent. I think everybody by now, unless they live under a rock or in a cave, realizes the enemies attacking us are doing so in service to a dystopian ideology centered around their interpretation of Islam. Who doesn't understand that? So I am not sure agonizing over what to call the enemy is worth all the teeth gnashing over it.

Enjoy a flatter, crispier, usually tastier (but not always)cookie that spreads out? Use Butter.
Enjoy a cookie that rises up better, and more tender? Use Crisco.
You should have used, "Want a cookie that doesn't remind you of a biscuit? use Crisco."
