NFL Talk

Any joy I have in the former Ute's success this year is tarnished by the fact that Katie is the most annoying Niners fan ever. I would like to see Alex win a Superbowl and stick it to Trout, but that comes at the price of Katie being happy. Maybe Alex can get to the Superbowl and lose. Probably as close to a win/win as we'll get.

Yea because that will be a horrible game........

Well lucky for me I'll get to watch the Superbowl this year. It probably would've been a great game, I just hate both teams and would've had no desire to watch them play. I'd rather watch the Disney channel with my kids than sit through a Packers/Patriots SB.

I was worried about that Giants matchup for a long time and kind of saw that game coming. Giants are red-hot and playing amazing football and Green Bay was Rusty McButterfingers. Despite Rodgers letting two huge passes get away from him (which is nothing compared to 10 dropped balls), Jesus Christ is he something else.

Fire Dom Capers. Despite what the numbers and the analysts say, I simply refuse to believe that Eli Manning is that good, especially since the Packers made every QB look great this year when they weren't getting interceptions. I don't know how the pass rush suffered so much in a year, but they need to figure that and the secondary the **** out.

A frustrating end to an ever-frustrating season (DEFENSE).

And despite that KatieMCR is almost the sole reason I've rooted against the Niners this season, they are cooking something special over there.

I still have no idea how people underestimate Eli Manning. He's an elite QB especially in clutch time. People must be judging him off of how goofey he looks and not how he plays.

Ironically enough Capers is rumored to be a candidate for some head coach jobs. They might not have to fire him

He is not in the tier that Brees, Brady, and Rodgers are in. I put him in the 2nd tier with Big Ben. Too inconsistent in regular season to be elite.

A couple of things, Cyrone just to let you know the 9'ers did beat the Giants earlier this year in San Fran it was down to the wire but the 9'ers D stopped them from getting a TD in the final seconds to hold on and win.
While I get what you're saying about the TO's the 9'ers D had to make a play on all of them (the first special teams one being the exception that one was weak) and they had been doing so all year. Similar to how your Saints did the Colts in the SB and all year long that season.
Oh and while saying playing at home would be a automatic win, I see it in that every home team usually has an advantage but to say a home team can't or won't turn the ball over at home is insane. Don't believe me, go ask Rodgers and GB.

To the Jet fans, screw you. I liked Sparano, the team never quit on him and while overly conservative I liked his offense, he's probably a better OC then HC evident on how his HC record ended.

For half of any given season, Eli Manning looks like he needs to hang it up. And for the other half, he looks like he can hang with his brother.

All-in-all, I don't consider that elite.

But what did we learn over last weekend? Defense is still king in sports. It's not like the Patriots beat a good team anyway (those Bronco wins are considered miracles mostly because everyone knows that they actually suck).
